Let me get this right....

Let me get this right....

If you rob a bank and get a couple thousand dollars you go to jail for the same time a broker does for robbing people of 60 billion dollars. Where's my white shirt because there's a good incentive not to rob banks but Wall Street. Seems the people that were rating stocks 8 years ago where brokers paid there rating companies for a favorable rating. The rating companies made out in fees. The brokers got a nice piece of paper saying these stocks were great. They sold the stocks making fees for the transactions. The people that bought the stocks were left holding the bag, a bag of toxic waste. Sound familiar? These same ratings companies rated housing loans that were bundled together. They made favorable ratings and collected there fees. The brokers sold off the toxic laced loan packages. Now the government is bailing them out sort of. Hank Paulson who said we need to buy up those toxic loans but gave the money to his favorite banks where they now sit on the money. His idea was that they were going to loan money and get the economy going except he forgot to have some strings attached saying they have to loan this money they were given, given with no strings, not a loan, just given. Then there's the mortgage backs securities, a insurance company that has nothing to back it's policies up with. Since they were not called a insurance company they weren't regulated. Well if it smells like insurance and works like insurance then it should be regulated like insurance. You don't go to a casino that can't pay you when you win but this was a hedge fund where they only take when things are good, good for them and leave the people holding the toxic waste bag when things are bad. Hank Paulson favoring these Wall Street buddies gave AIG over one hundred billion dollars with no strings, not a loan, just gave them the money.

Lets go back to eight years ago when brokers were selling over rated stocks and walked away with over one hundred billion dollars. The brokers were fined one billion two hundred million dollars and told not to do it again. These were also brokers that contributed highly to the republican campaign which got Bush elected. So I guess they used a favor from someone high up in the Whitehouse because no one went to jail.

Back to today, so far no one has gone to jail for running the country into the ground but were rewarded by money, not a loan, just piles of money. Sounds like what happened in Iraq where piles of money were handed out with no accounting.

The TARP program was suppose to keep people in their houses but Hank Paulson a appointment by Bush favors Wall Street people giving them tons of money while the people paying for this, the tax payer are asking where is this money going? Paulson just saying, "Trust me." Meanwhile the economy is going from bad to worse.

So far there has been over "Two Trillion Dollars" given out, mostly to the presidents friends. A reward as Bush gets ready to leave office. Everyone talked about a October surprise and there was one, seems Bush had to break it and sell it to the public, congress and senate just like the war was sold to the American people. The war made some people rich with no bid contracts. Cheney still gets paid from Halliburton.

Lets see what has Bush done in the last eight years besides running the country into the ground. He's dismantled the EPA to where it's back to or before the EPA was created. His friends manipulated oil prices and made billions of dollars. His friends drove the price of corn up to where renewable fuels were buying corn at eight dollars a bushel and now are selling the alcohol for less then it took to make driving them out of business protecting the oil companies. He's got off shore drilling on the table. Left two wars going and never found his family friend Bin Laden, who I think is in the guest house on Bush's ranch. Lets not forget Katrina and Brownie who was "doing a heck of a job." Government jobs were privatized and those jobs, contracts were given to Bush's friends costing the tax payers more money then if the government was doing the same job.

Just love the guy that through the shoes at Bush in Iraq, what balls and what irony.

I change my political views like you change underwear

McCain says he's going to protect Social Security but a few years ago he was saying he wanted to privatize it to get a higher return from the stock market. Could you imagine the impact it would be having right now if the republicans would have privitised social security when Bush was on his privitizing rampage as what was done with social security part "D" a big give away to the drug manufacturing compnies where the government pays top dollar for drugs above market price. Another great republican give away. Republicans like make making a failing government and privetizing that same office like outsourcing the military which is coasting billions a week wheather it's money going to Chaney's buddies where Chaney gets a yearly kickback or the private army that is hired to supliment the military in Iraq inplace of using real military at a higher price. The surge where the millitary was increased to the point of the generals prediction of what would it take to control the masses there to install peace in the contry had to have private solders because they ran out of real solders. Still the count was in the 300,000 range. That's why the cost per day is so high, private solders cost a lot more. If we were just using real military and no private compnaies the war cost would be 1/10 the price it is right now but republican investerest need to make money on all situations like war, bailouts or even no child left behind and private schools.

Then again, every day has a new theme to McCain's run. He can't come up with anything on his own and now is copying, "Obama's Change mantra." The "Maverick" thing didn't pan out when people watched the movie "Top Gun" and saw what Tom Cruse's character was as a maverick, a loose canon, someone you couldn't count on. Then going back in history a maverick is a unbranded young cow or stear.

Thou shall not lie, except when you can win a election

Thou shall not lie. Love your neighbor as yourself. Things that so called Totalitarian Christian seem to over look to get their way as they interpret the bible in their own way, making it up as they go. These are the people that if they offer you cool aid you really need to run. When a religion that's based on love is teaching hate it's time to get off the bus.

McCain and Palin, "Miss Chokesondix, Alaska" stopped talking about getting elected to "lets vote against THEM." After all it was Phil Gramm and McCain that supported deregulation of the markets saying they will govern themselves. Who also is afraid of redistributing the wealth downward instead of to the extreme rich. We say that the "Trickle down Economic" really mean pee on the poor and middle class. Hearing Palin's Christian way of thinking it's time to get off the bus. She can still give me a hummer though. How do you think she got to where she is today, it wasn't on her looks.

Why can't Christians tell the truth? It's because they need to dominate over others. Adolf did that too and he was a Christian, a Protestant, a off branch of the Catholic Church which also broke off to the Baptist and a 160 plus other groups. The Nazi's were all Christian. So were the Fascist's in Italy. So religion and government really don't mix

"Born again" could do it right the first time? Needed another religion that suited you, something that was easier to do?

Out of touch from the real worlds needs

After watching the debates and getting bombarded by tons of political commercials I really have to question McCain. He questioned the DNA study of grizzly bears saying it was a waste of time. That's something an old uneducated person would say. Dealing with climate change and global warming, plant migration along with animal migration this would be an important study as I can see it. When you hear the grim outlook for the worlds wild life and extinction on a daily basis. McCain saying why study bears DNA is like saying to Kennedy why go to the moon. Cutting down Obama's earmark for a planetarium projector saying million was too much like he actually knew what he was talking about. Unfortunately he didn't know what he was talking about, not at all. If anyone has ever gone to a planetarium and saw the big menacing machine in the middle of the dome, that's the projector. It projects the planets and stars onto the ceiling of the planetarium dome. The full cost of the planetarium projector is $10 million dollars replacing the 50 or 60 year old projector that has stopped working and the parts for that projector are not made anymore, sort of like the mold for McCain a solder whose days have gone by. McCain's campaign is like watching a monkey in his cage flinging his own feces at the people walking by.

Hearing McCain say, "Obama wants to spread your wealth around." What Obama is saying the wealth is going to the top and the middle and lower class people are being left out of any way of getting wealth. I see McCain protecting the wealthy like all republicans do. What gets me is that the low end of the spectrum republican voters shoot themselves in the foot voting against what would be good for them.

Hearing a woman on the radio today saying she's going to vote for republicans because they have good moral and values. Lady, they would throw you out on the street as much as look at you. They don't care about you. Republicans are about big business and look what unregulated Wall Street has done. Look at what the Credit Card Companies have done they are worst then loan sharks. Mortgages are all messed up and they even have a name for the loans that they made, "Teaser loans." It's not a real loan but a fake loan. They told the people we will sell you this loan package and you can refinance your house in a couple years when the rates change. They even forged documents so people could get the loans with no credit history.

Then there's McCain's buddy Phil Gramm who pushed through the shadiest deregulation laws that hurt the country but helped the rich to get richer. Oil companies that could set the price of oil, again like they would regulate themselves. What did the oil companies do, jack the price up taking there lead from Enron.

I was watching the news a few months ago where a tornado came through a town. The sheriff said, The weather is changing and I don't know why." He was from a red state on that doesn't believe in global warming and the effects of weather pattern change.

When you fight just for the sake of fighting because your republican and then there's those others. I'm totally ready for change and put the republicans on the endangered species list.

Why is oil price so high and how Phil Gramm made it that way.

Tired of listening that the market was controlling the oil market? Well come to find out the Phil Gramm earmark caused the problem, The "Enron Loophole" A need to remove the Enron loophole is needed and over sight is needed like it used to be. "Caution: listening to this will make you mad." More drilling will now solve the problem because oil companies are international but they sell the oil not here that's drilled here but overseas so there's no security into more drilling offshore or in Alaska.

Little Darwin the runt explorer

Little Darwin the Explorer. Small shy but takes on the larger full grown skunks and doesn't let them push her around. I'm so amazed at these little guys they are so interesting. It's amazes me that they will come to me when I call them by name. Interesting for a wild animal.

Chaney goes to "Stans"

What will happen as Cheney goes to the Stans to check out the flow of oil. If you have been following Cheney's political and work history he's very interested in money and oil and not much else. People still want know if he was drunk when he shot his lawyer friend who he never visited in the hospital. Guess you wouldn't want someone like that stopping by to say get well.

So will Chaney piss off the Russians? What is his devious plan? Is he going to keep pushing Bush to drill off the coasts? Huricare didn't drive the price of gas up but down. It's interesting that when Katrina happened the oil companies stopped pumping oil in the gulf except for the robot wells, which is 500,000 barrels a day one half the amount of oil going through the BP pipeline going through Georgia. There are several other oil and natural gas pipelines running across the country.

It's ironic that the price of oil goes up as McCain's ratings go down. Think it's a wedge issue? Red states are for coastal drilling since they only eat corn and no sea food. Or if you listen to the religious people, "they can destroy the earth any way they want to God said so."

McCain sells his soul...

The Devil, big oil and Bush and Chaney pull strings knowing they are going to loose, jack up the price of gas by cutting production to help McCain use this as a wedge issue. If you listen to the oil companies ads they are your friends at least that's what they present as long as you sell the future of the country to them. They will drill and ship United States oil over seas because Americans are saving gas by cutting down driving. Big Oil doesn't care about car makers as you can see the car producers are in the dumps cutting jobs and benefits that were promised to them.

What would McCain be saying if there was enough oil? Nothing.

He flip-flopped on torture. Wire taps without warrants. Wonder if that means anyone in the United States including congress and senators can be listened in on.

McCain used to have morals at one time but facing old age and the last time to run for president he's sold his soul to the dark side.

Even as he gives his speeches he has to use cue card because his poor old mind isn't as sharp as it once was. The adult diaper is a real give away along with skin cancer. He's not to long for this world. His VP should be a good young one to replace him when he kicks off. The stress of the first weeks isn't going to be good for his health.

Give up now and retire with your millions tax dollars per year. Unlike normal Americans that can vote them self raises or get a guaranteed retirement which has been stolen by big business and the republicans, destroying the unions and the standard of life we once knew.

Who wants four more years of the Bush plan. No other country supports McCain. In fact they hate the idea if a republican president.

Can't teach an old dog new tricks

McCain after pooping his diaper complains that Obama doesn't know what's going on although Obama's world tour was treated like a rock star by the people and leaders of other countries. McCain is now leaning "The Google" and trying to send email technology and science along with economics isn't his big suit as he said. Talk about some one flip flopping on ideas to win the support of the repubilcans. He sounds like a broken record calling Obama all sorts of names over and over since he can't come up with any new talking points. His idea to or Bush and Chaney's idea to drill off the coasts and in Alaska's wild life refuge so that oil companies can sell oil over seas if Americans concerve gas and oil. What a deal oil companies get, they get the oil dirt cheap and sell it for a extreme high price. Maybe it's time the Americans take charge of their resources, do what Iraq is doing. Let the oil companies drill and pump out the oil for America. Where America gets the oil and the profits. The idea that oil companies are our friends is redickulous. They don't care about you but only in profits. One of the largest gold mines in the country is being run by a Canadian company. Sortly a Brazilian company is going to start drilling for oil in Utah. Sure the oil companies pay royalties a couple buck on each barrel but not on a sliding price of the market. Seems if companies and countries are going to get out resources out of our lands they sound be used here. All this deregulation that's gone one sure isn't helping me or you or America. If oil comanies do get a okay to start drilling it won't make a difference in the quantity for years to come and if we don't use it, it's going to be sold over seas. That just means to me that McCain is behind big bussiness and big businees doesn't care about you but only cares about profits.

So if you want big business to run your life vote republican. Why people can't see that republicans care about you just gets me. They will say something like, "I'm voting for a party with morals." What kind of morals does a party have if it doesn't value life and starts wars for profits mainly oil profits.

Flickr and it's uploader program

After downloading the Flickr uploader program and installing it I was able to upload one picture in several days. This was better then working off the browser which I didn't upload any. It keeps telling me I have a bad connection and I should wiggle my wires and try again. Maybe they should try wiggling there wires because the problems not on this side. Maybe too many people are using the service and they don't have enough servers.

I did notice that you can now sell pictures and also find picture doing a search which is fine. If you can't upload any pictures then what good is the uploading program.

Smoke gets in my eyes

So many fires are burning that there's not enough people and equipment to fight all the fires. A fire near me which was small has been burning for two days when it should have been put out in a few hours two days ago. Fire departments are just protecting houses and letting the fires burn hoping that will burn out.

Crime really pays

A hedge fund manager riped off his costumers to the tune of $450 million dollars. The courts fined him $300 million dollars and sentenced him to a few years in jail. He faked his death and is on the run with $150 million dollars.

Exxon big spill and the law suits by the people of Alaska has been dismissed in the Supreme Court saying the price was too high. So after fighting this case the people and lands of Alaska are the losers. Big Business wins again and gets away with the biggest oil spill in the history of the world and doesn't have to pay for the harm it caused. It also helps when you have radical republican judges who are in favor in the destruction of the planet and all life on it, at any cost. Profit is the motive and I wonder how much the judges were paid by Exxon to make this judgment.

Beihner appears drunk on PBS

Johnny Beihner with his glassy eyes on the PBS News Hour and blames democrats for what is wrong in the world including high gas prices, high health care prices and against a single payer system. I guess it's hard to keep telling lies in public without using your vises to aid you. You can only get behind big business knowing it's wrong when your bought off. It does take it's toll over the years when you can't believe your own words and have to stick to talking point set up by think tanks to stay in power.

Republican manipulate gas prices to win in 2008

Republicans manipulate gas and oil and blame democrats for the problems. When in 2000 Senator Phil Gramm of Texas got a law past for Enron to change the way America's market prices oil. It's also the time of energy deregulation which hasn't worked out too well either. At the time of the republican controlled senate and congress when it was sneaked in and not know by the general public along with the secret energy program developed by Dick Chaney.

If you have been listening to the republicans and president, "Bush" saying it's the democrats fault that they are obstructing oil development when they could have done something while they were in total control. They are now using this to influence voters with a oil scare.

The Enron Loophole lets the market set the price of oil by investors. This loophole can be closed and oil prices can drop within one month, that is if the president is really concerned about the price of oil. But Bush and the republicans are going to use this as a "Wedge Issue" this election cycle. It's just like they used "Gay Marriage" in the 2000 and 2004 elections along with national security.

Everything if you haven't noticed that comes out of the mouth of Bush is a lie and he always does the opposite. He said he wasn't going to be in "Nation Building" but when Diane Feinstein went to the Whitehouse in 2000 she found a map of Iraq posted on the wall and Bush was creaming his pants talking about all the untapped wealth and oil in the Iraqi oil fields. You can download the podcast of her talk about this from the "Commonwealth Club of California." http://www.commonwealthclub.org/

The republicans knowing they can't win this election cycle have pulled this dirty plan out to get people to vote republican.

Like Katrina when the country was flooded Bush was on vacation and this year again Bush was on a European Vacation while the Midwest was being flooded. Again only going to the disaster areas when it was safe and the flood waters have retreated, that is if you remember his big speech at St. Charles Square where he promised to help everyone in the affected areas. Still those areas are being rebuild after the two hurricanes. Texas had no problem of getting aid from the government and was speedily rebuilt without court battles from insurance companies and republican judges voted with the insurance companies that they didn't have to cover people in the affected areas of the South outside of Texas.

Since Bush said he plans now to talk to Iran about the nuclear issue and that everything's on the table. If McCain isn't elected in November I believe that Bush will start bombing Iran before the years end. Whether it's a proxy war don't by another state or is America does it, it's again going to be about oil for his oil buddies.

DTV what a scam

Leading up to the big hype about the new Digital Television next year where all these frequencies are suppose to be freed up it's not true, they use the same space and band width as analog TV right now. Depending on when you time of day you setup the tuner depends on how many channels you'll get. Do it at night and you most likely will get more channels which won't work during the day.

You need a large antenna array to get the channels you see now. They need to be pointed at the transmitting antennas.

What gets me is that both analog and digital do the same thing and analog seems to travel farther. It's nice that digital comes in clear and sharp if you can get the channel. Why they don't keep both. This has to be a republican controlled FCC maneuver just like making already large corporations even bigger disregarding what the people of this country has to say about consolidation.

It's the dumbing down of America so people can only get limited amounts of news. If you don't hear about it then you can't be outraged at what the republican government is doing. It's too bad that the K street project has fallen apart and the people involved have gone to jail well some of them have.

McCain wants drilling off California coast.

McCain wants drilling off shore of the California coast. Maybe that would be exceptable if they start storing nuclear waste in Arizona. That would be an exceptable trade off. If he wants to do drilling off California he has to give a little too.

What about drilling in Chaney's back yard? They are pushing drilling in BLM lands and National Forests of Wyoming without paying any royalties to the state of country. A free ride to the oil companies. Seems like if they are taking our reserves of oil from our country they need to pay for it but it's oil men in office. I'm sure they are getting kickbacks.

Yesterday I heard about the loophole that Enron made to change the way the market pays for oil where the market can change the price of oil rather then the market causing the market change. Closing that loophope would take about one month to bring oil back in line with what was going on for the past 70 years of trading.

I still want to see Ken Lays body in the coffin. I still think facing jail time his death was faked since Bush is his buddy.

You can't put 10 gallons in a 5 gallon bucket

People are wondering why there is flooding along the rivers in central United States. With development over the years and building closer and closer to the rivers. Placing bridges over rivers in narrow areas of the rivers blocking the rivers flow in high water years. It's just common scenes you can't put 10 gallons of water in a 5 gallon bucket. Placing levees to hold the water back where the river would have expanded during the high flood years causing the rivers to flow up rather then out in the flood planes. If you go along the rivers you'll see the river high mark areas but for some reason people keep saying, "it won't happen here" when it does flood. People just don't get it that if you build on a flood plane you're going to get wet.

Watching the pictures of the water on the news you can see the bridges near over topping. If you look at that banks of the river there's a long slope except where the bridges are which are build right up to the shore lines of the river, restricting the water flow.

Instead of building the bridge at the high water line they build it at the low water line and figure that the water can flow under the bridge. Mainly it's cost that they do this, cheaping out projects to save money, again saying, "It won't happen here." Well it happened here and is going to continue to happen here as long as you try to fight mother nature and global warming.

My best analogy which I used in several other papers I wrote is, "It's like building a house on train tracks, eventually a train is going to come along."

What about all those etra frequencies after digital TV is in place

I've been hearing the digital is better and after next year when everything is digital there's going to free up all these radio frequencies so that cell phones and public services can use them. Now, after reading the manual of what the frequencies the DTV converter box receives I was shock to find out that only a small segment was removed, two analog channels. This has to be a republican controlled FCC mess created like the war in Iraq, not to well thought through. Since digital and analog are intermingled right now why not keep both since I get more channels on analog. With Digital it either works or it doesn't. You most likely seen DVD's skip or on satellite it goes into patchy squares, sound stops, blast back in in chunks the squares move around. So the channels I got great now don't come in while the channels I never watch come in great, the religious channels. I get all four of them. What gets me is the channel line up will show that the channels are there but don't work and if they do, they come in chunky.

Knowing how the republican controlled FCC acts in other matters this must be a scam to get everyone to replace there TV sets. I heard one commercial saying if you can't receive a digital signal then you have to get cable of satellite.

As far as I can see you need to get what is called a "Smart Antenna" for those hard to get channels. Looking at it with it's little antennas I don't see how that is going to pick up very much except in areas of good reception. Having to have a antenna for each channel seems to be the way to get good reception. Who knew I'd need a large antenna array to get TV in the future. The antennas are going to cost way more then the stupid box. You know what they say about you get what you pay for and the government helped me get something worthless. That's nothing new, they do that a lot.

Republican defend big oils gas prices

Republicans defend big oils wind fall incomes. Ever since Bush and buddies came to office the price of oil or gas has been going up. Today the democrats tried to pass a wind fall tax on big oil companies and get them to invest in renewable sources but republicans defend big oil saying it won't work. That's something I've heard over and over, "It won't woke." Then a law is past and it does but no one remembers how many times republican made that claim that it won't work.

We could be buying ethanol but the republicans put a import duty where it's not going to be able to be imported. So we pay high prices for food because corn is being made into ethanol rather then being fed to live stock. More lands are being farmed for corn rather then food crops which is also driving up the price of food.

When it comes to doing something right for the country the republican look at things from a short term view. They want the fast buck without doing work.

Instead of making a wind fall tax, take energy away from the futures and stock market. Better yet since this is turning into a national security issue, nationalize energy and take it away from these people that want to destroy the country for a short term gain. How soon we forgot what Enron has done to the country and how they were manipulating the market. People have forgot what Exxon did to the country in the late seventies taking notes from what OPEC did earlier that decade.

The republicans solution, drill in the Wild Life Refuge in Alaska. Drill off the east and west costs. What burns me is they don't pay royalties for drilling on public lands. They don't pay for oil spills because Exxon is still fighting the spill they did twenty years ago in Alaska. They still haven't cleaned up the oil mess either, well they did a superficial job. The surface of rock are clean but turn one over and the oil is still there.

Why don't American that vote republican believe that they only want there vote and then they are going to tax them while giving themselves a cut. They will get laws past like what the credit card companies did where it's almost imposable to claim bankruptcy. But when it comes to a large corporation claiming bankruptcy, no problem, and the republicans will even give them money to help them out like the airlines. They are union buster and want to bring in low wage unskilled people from south of the country, that why The Wall, which was promised wasn't never finished. All you get is lies from republican. Just read the 9/11 report and all the books that have been written by past Bush buddies that quit because they couldn't lie any more.

McCain vows Bush tax cut and more for industry and the 1% of the richest

Campaigning today McCain vows to keep Bush's tax cuts and give more tax cut for large corporations. Well, he did say a few month back that he wasn't good with economic. He also said he wasn't going to be the continuation of Bush's policies for four more years. He's also shaking the big stick at Iran so that must mean another war because war is good for big business and it's inverters. People like those same corporations like Halliburton, Bechtel, the mercenary groups like Blackwater, a pro republican industry. He claims he plans to stay in Iraq for the next hundred years. So what is different the the Bush years, he hasn't said anything new. He did say he was going to keep doing warrant less wire taps. Guess that means our mail will still be read too. Well the constitution has be run through the paper shredder by Bush and Chaney.

Iraq is holding it's breath to the end of the year when Bush goes out of office because they don't want us there after the U.N.'s mandate runs out.

Iraq isn't going to follow Bush's oil law he's been pushing which signs over the rights to Iraqi lands and give it to big oil. Could that be part of the pressure being placed on the world by big oil raising the price of gas to force them in to signing. I don't thing so.

So if Bush was Chaney's puppet what would McCain be, Bush's puppet.

Zero Sum CO2 game

People keep passing this idea of trading CO2 credits but that means there's still pollution being pumped out which will take 50 to 100 years to cycle out of the air. Coming up with a Cap and Trade system only means it's going to take centuries to get pollution out of the air if at all. The right idea would be to have a zero pollution at some point in the future to return the earth back to normal. As far as global warming goes, people with the cap and trade ideas want to live with pollution and deal with the problems of higher sea level, less water, flooding, bigger storms. Telling people that have had their cities removed from earth because of super cell tornados because it wasn't economical to change our ways is going to be a little hard to do but elected official will do it, just like fabrications of the facts for going to war in Iraq. Some elected officials oppose anything to do with correcting global warming just because the other side is suggesting it and they didn't come up with it because it's going to effect the bottom line of the companies they have invested in or they are in their constituency. There's been more tornados since the first of the year then there has been in the past three years. Yet people don't get it. I saw a sheriff say, "The weather is changing and I don't know why," he live in a flat land red state in tornado allay and most likely was a republican. Ask him why he votes that way he'll tell you, "I don't know, my parents were republican and their parents were republican, so I don't know."

I've heard people suggest that we have something like "The Manhattan Project" to solve the problem through technology. I remember in the sixties when the "Army Corps of Engineers" wanted to drill a tunnel through the San Gabriel Mountains and place large fans in them to solve the smog problem in Los Angeles.

The idea of leaving it up to the energy companies to do something will take as long as there's still oil and coal. Until they run out it's going to be the same thing with higher prices and record breaking financial quarters like what Exxon is having right now. Part of the problem is they want to drill in wild life refuge in Alaska and off the east and west coasts and in the gulf. Maybe this would be okay if they could be fined at rates that they would really be careful about any oil spills. Maybe a million dollars a barrel as a fine plus the affected people must be compensated for the loss of wages due to a spill and until the area is returned back to the way it was before the spill. Also if they want to drill in Alaska they have to pay of the law suit before they even start talking about it in congress. They have been fighting that law suit it seems forever and still are fighting it saying that the fines are still too high. There will have to be a no exceptions to the fines and penalties before they start drilling. From what OPEC has said that there's enough oil just that the market has driven up the price, maybe to get there way in drilling like they did in the seventies when they wanted the Alaskan Pipeline. Soon as congress gave the okay to build the pipeline the price dropped over night. All the sudden there was more oil and no more lines and the pipeline wasn't even built yet. Was that a manipulation of the market, of course it was. So much pressure was put on congress to increases the amount of oil output that congress caved in.

What truly would be good to do is put solar on everyone's home and flat surface out there. If it's build it has solar on it. Have government project to increase the output of solar cells. Put them on thee poorest peoples houses first. There still will be energy companies but with the amount of solar cells on roofs it would cut the cost of energy for the people. The rich can afford to pay for their own solar cells so have cut off of some dollar value based on income and how the economy is going. Of course the energy companies will be against it and come up with all sorts of reasons why it won't work, only because their bottom line will be cut. Also you could put batteries in each home so you could have power at night or cloudy days, something the new solar systems aren't doing but are selling power to the grid but then people are buying energy back at night. This could be eliminated with batteries.

Having electric plug in cars would be the way to go as far as transportation goes, since people don't drive that far for work or going to stores. Besides most of the oil doesn't go for fuel anyway's but most of the fuel goes to making chemicals for making plastics, most of which aren't recycled. Having all plastics recycled and not put in land fills oils consumption would also drop.

What is a Neocon

Had to think about this for a few days. I know the republicans use it but it's only a few of them that neocons. I know Bush and his crew are neocons. Which sent me looking in the dictionary to figure out what this means and basing it on the actions of Bush and his crew. They say actions speak loader then words.

I knew people that were want a be bikers and only had the shirt to impress people. So I had to go from there to figure out what it is to be a neocon based on what Bush and his crew did in the past seven years.

The con part was easy because we were con'd into going to war based on made of facts sold to us in a form of fear. Sure I can see taking revenge for 9/11. Then there is also to to the north of Iran too which you also need to take into consideration. Iraq was sold as partners of 9/11 which it wasn't. There was oil there and Bush and Chaney are oil guys.

We are also getting con'd to drill in Alaska's wild life refuge. The oil companies are all in on that one driving the price of oil up by not refining as much oil. Weather events also drove the price of oil up by panic buying on the futures market, most of that was flat out greed. What gets me is oil comes into ports on the west coast far from Texas but still when they said Katrina damaged the refineries that don't deliver gasoline here I had to questioned that. This is that same thing that happened before the Alaskan pipeline was okayed to be built. Then over night the price of gasoline went down almost over night. Makes you wonder how that is since the pipeline wasn't built yet and we all the sudden had all this oil to refine. Part of Exxon deal was to ship oil to any place but here making a shortage. They still haven't cleaned up after the oil spill and haven't paid all the people that lost money because of the spill.

So, Con was easy to figure out what that was, a confidence scheme. They are starting one to invade Iran not for what they are say but again for oil.

Bush wanted to pass a Nafta scheme with Colombia but I think that's more like no cocaine left behind. Plus it's a stepping stone to Venezuela, another scheme to take over a country with oil.

It's been a systematic villainous statements about other countries and people. When They were questioned about it they became the enemy and a none patriot. They didn't have a big enough flag and didn't fly it high enough. They also were refried to as people siding with the enemy. It was a good game run by them. Whether it was in the best interest of the country or was in the best interest of the Neocons.

Clearly as we look at the war we now see that the people in these two countries have truly a different culture and different ways of doing thing. The administrations knowledge of the middle east is clearly limited. Listening to Bush's speeches it's clear he has a wet brain from drinking, alcoholics get that where there brain gets pickled and shrinks. You get a person that stammers.

So that brings me to "neo." which I new was short for something and the only thing I could find in the dictionary to fit the past seven years performance is "Neophite" slang used by educated people to refer to idiots. So that fits. I'm sure everyone knows at least one neophite if not more.

So looking at the past seven years neophite con sure fits the bill. If you look at Bush's campaign speeches or remember them, he's done everything he said he wasn't going to do.

Whether the price of gasoline will ever go down depends on if the oil companies get their way and start drilling off the coast of Florida and California and drilling in Alaska. If you watch the commercial on TV they say they can do it responsibly but we only have to look at Exxon's oil spill. Maybe if they pay off the law suits it could be considered.

So I seem to come up with neocon meaning stupid con job. The truth will come out once Bush and Chaney aren't they to silence everyone. They won't have that pull to call people names and make it stick anymore. I just wonder what country Bush and Chaney will be buying after they leave office since we don't know where all these billions are going just that it's going, and soon Bush and Chaney will be going.

and justice for those who can afford it

Since I was small I've been saying the pledge of allegiance. As I get older and wiser I've discovered the without money and a lot of it you can't get justice. The truth can't set you free but end yourself in jail. Lies work. Never say anything without a lawyer. It's only when you can buy off people do you get your justice, what you paid for anyways.

If you look at stock brokers who steel billions, they got to jail for a few month if that, while some poor back robber excluding John McCain who robbed a Savings and Loan they end up in jail for 20 years. Fraud is a bigger crime affect more people but has less jail time and you get to keep the money too.

We need to change the laws where someone like a elected office convicted of fraud or what every it is, they go to jail for the crime plus go to jail one year for each person they affected. So it they affect every tax paying in the country that would be about 300 million years. It would keep our elected official on the up and up and doing the right thing for this country and not doing what's right for them.

There are more white collar crimes that affect the whole country then any one single crime that one person does with a gun. Judges are biased in favor with the rich people because they get funds to get re-elected or they end up with a house addition, a new car or sky box for a season. They call it the cost of doing business. When judges get busted from smoking crack, do they go to jail. No, they get a teaching job to tell other future lawyers how to stay out of jail and still get favors. They still get to practice law at their same high rates which is ridiculous. No one is work $400 dollars an hour or more. Even CEO take home so much for failing a corporation.

We need federal laws to balance the playing field and that field can't be changed without a act of congress who seem to vote themselves a raise any time they feel like it.

Working for hourly rates in this day and age is a form of oppression or what I see as a form of slavery. Sure you get something but there is always those changing the rules so you'll never get ahead. Right now energy prices are going up faster then inflation which I think inflation was invented to keep the masses down. Say you put money in the bank. The bank uses it and makes money with your money but they never pay you enough to keep up with inflation. The interest is always 1% less then the inflation rate.

Fluctuations right now in the value of the dollar are going to help the rich and not the masses. I really think that this past 7 years has been a big manipulation of the market and the people to benefit the extreme rich. As they collect your money right now saying everything cost more they are always coming out ahead. When the dollar regains it's value, like when the next democratic president is in office those inflated dollars will be worth so much more.

Today Bush said he has a way of solving the oil or gas problem by drilling in Alaska's wild life refuge. Exxon is just doing the same thing they did in the 70's by diverting oil to other countries causing a shortage here. It's been suggested that gas tax be suspended during the summer months, money which is supposed to go for road improvements so bridges won't fall down but that money that is suppose to be set aside is spent on other things in the general fund.

How people can start wars for oil and lie about it amazes me but the American is so stupid and believes everything on TV unlike countries where it gets to be debated to find the truth. Mike Moore's movie talked about a pipeline going through Afghanistan. Everyone discounted that and most likely don't even remember the movie since they don't remember last week.

If it's one thing I've been learning is that crime pays and it pays very well. Look at Waste Management, a mob owned disposable company squeezing out the little guys over the years until one company is in every city across the country. You would think there's money in trash but the mob so it as a long term investment.

A billionaire in Texas who made his money in oil is now buying up the water rights around Texas and surrounding states. He said you can't drink oil. He's true and he's going to put a price on water just like oil. He's not the only one companies from other countries are coming here and buying up water right because we will sell anything for a short term profit.

Is there anyone out there that wants to do the right thing for this country without taking away a big profit? Some one that will do something for the long term goals of this country. So far all I've seen is people talking telling me lies.

Old Dogs can't learn new trick

It seems the people of the dust bowl want to continue and prove the scientists are right about global warming be doing everything they shouldn't. I have met all the brainless people that think they know what they are doing is right even thought scientist tell them they are doing the wrong things. Being a observer and photographer I study people. I see so much in there faces that tell me they don't know what they are talking about. For instance, if you have a well it's not a good idea to flood your property with chemicals which soak into the water table. Trying to tell them that is like talking to a wall. Telling people that longer grass keep water in the ground and you need to water less but that is another brick wall. Looking at the presidential race is a good example of idiots that don't want to learn but believe sound bytes in slanderous commercials. From the stats I heard most of the republican believe that weapons of mass destruction were found even thought it's been in all the news papers and on all the news channels that it wasn't. They believe that 9/11 was partly caused by Iraq even though the fact show and even came out from the 9/11 commission that Iraq had nothing to do with it. These must be the same people that watch sport and think that's more important then the facts. Then again people who watch sports all drink to excess which is pushed by the government so that you wouldn't look at the real fact of what's going on in this country. Why are there s many idiots and inbred people here, that are totally mindless of what is going on in the world. Last years Miss America was a good example of brainless people. You can get so for with your looks then become someones trophy wife because you won't make it in the real world where you have to work for a living. Then again, your good looking so you could become a high priced call girl with your good looks. I don't understand how people pick the people running for office, it must be a dart game where they place the ballot on the wall and throw darts at it.

People move to the mountain where I live and want to bring the city with them destroying nature a they go. Why plant plants that take more water then natural plants that have been growing here for millions of years. Erosion is another problem that they can't grasp. Since you strip the plants off that hold the soil in place and it washes away and they wonder why. It also creates flooding in low lying areas because there's no water sheds in the mountains anymore. Then when there house is floating away they wonder why.

They is one thing I've noticed about the air, that there is no sunset that doesn't have a brown sky. I was watch Carrier on PBS last night were they were in the middle of the ocean and there sunsets were all brown and red because of air pollution.

What's wrong is these people can't learn. They do the same thing over and over even though smarter people tell them the right way of doing things.

It serves man right that he destroys the planet he lives on because he could do the right thing but what was easy. The planet will go one without man and it will be a better place like it's done in the past and will do in the future.

WHAT? "Amarican voters are idiots"

Yes it finally came out that American voters can be idiots because they don't learn and repeat themselves every four years. I've heard people say they want a moral president, I guess starting a war for oil isn't immoral. I guess dropping bombs on women and children and unborn babies is a moral thing if your republican, just as long as you fight against anti-abortion. What the people don't get is how wedge issues which mean nothing and will never be acted on but are brought up to get your vote. If a republican says he's against abortion, he might be but he's never going to do anything about it because it might cost him a vote. They are not going to take peoples guns away but should take Chaney's so he doesn't shoot any other person in the face. Then again you can see what happens when you go shooting while drunk it's just like driving drunk with the same results. I can't see how the American voter elected Bush twice but we never take into the fact he was appointed by the supreme court the first time and the electronic voting machines that were rigged but still they believe they need to vote republican, why they don't know, they think there's something they believe in even if there isn't.

Some of the latest poles show that McCain has a good chance of being elected even thought the democratic voters are coming out in record numbers and even republicans are voting democrat. I just wonder how they are poling and what the sample size is. What gets me is Bush has been gesturing to invade Iran. McCain made a joke about it singing a song from the sixties with the words, "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran" taken from the song "Barbaraanne." Why don't they pick these things up? A vote for the republicans means a vote for more war and more dead people. Well that sounds rather moral doesn't it.

McCain isn't much of a leader but more a follower listening to the little birds speaking in his ear telling him what to say. So he's not a good pilot and crash. That's no reason to vote him president. For the most part republicans are elitist because they are all lawyers graduating from the top schools. When they play dumb except George Bush, they know how to push peoples buttons calling others as elitist. Everyone in office has gone to school even Bush. Some people have ideas to help people some good and some only to help out there friends at the expense of the people of the United States.

Back to the idiots at hand. There are a lot of uneducated here hanging on to religion as the word and not just using it as one reference book of live and not the only one. That just gets me. All those books out there and they choose to only read one book. Well our school are pumping out children of the none book readers to follow in there foot steps. When they hear a sound byte they don't try to find out it's true. It's got to be true, it's on the TV and they said it so it's got to be true. Even though the country is getting run down by Bush there are idiots that want more of the same.

What gets me about Bush is he believe that going back on a decision is a sin of weakness. This is a guy that failed in the oil business but still wants to think he know what business is about. He keeps "Yes Men" around that won't contradict him so he gets no real input. He's got a wet brain from drinking and that's why he stutters and stammers. He made his money off the Rangers baseball team and through tax payers money. Yet he says he want to cut taxes which only help out him and his friends. He doesn't do anything for the good of the people of America but for the few rich friends of his.

Morals, what idiot wants to vote for a so called moral person that wants to start another war to improve the bottom line of military contractors. Who doesn't take anything said by scientist as truth but looks at it how it would benefit cooperations.

McCain is getting his butt kissed by the republican shadow government, the same people that put Bush in office. The same people that called the "Clean Air Act" as a way to put more coal fired plants in, to put more lead into the environment. To sell people crap stocks and call it good business. That didn't like the numbers of the unemployed to reflect a better outlook. You call these people moral. The richest people how made money last year made it on beating that the sub-prime loan business would fail. Yet the people loosing there homes will vote again for a republican even though they are paying double the price for energy. A president that took a wait and see approach on everything. When the war is going bad, which it's never been doing good at all, sat back and watch things fall apart just so he wouldn't have to go back on his earlier decisions. Generals told him he would need so many troops but didn't listen but fired the general because he contradicted what their grand idea.

This has been the worst president in the history of the country and yet people are planning to vote the same way and like the outcome believing the crap spewed from the TV. Only catching the a brief blurt of what is going on not knowing if it was taken out of context. I'm just discussed at those people that want to believe in myths over truth like science. What's in your little heads, not much because you want more crap for four more years.

The Quail Family

Momma bird ducking under a bunch of daffodils.

Daddy Dan Quail watching out while momma bird eats.

My take on a couple PBS shows

Watched Frontline last night about Health care around the world and how countries solved the problems of providing care for everyone. Taiwan was interesting because they said they looked at all the other country and didn't use any of them but started fresh and took the best parts of all the countries. You can see a doctor any time you want including a specialist type doctor. Everyone own a policy that cost the same for every on. The state picks up policies for the poor people. Canada has somewhat the same type health care system but like UK where richer people tend to opt out. In Taiwan you can't opt out. All have a single payer system and doctors or hospitals get paid as soon as the bills are sent in. Over all they are spending half the money and getting twice the quantity.
After that I watch a video about some media students growing a acre of corn and finding what all goes into growing corn in Iowa. They grew a genetically modified corn that can stand the herbicide. They have many varieties some made by Monsanto or there's called Liberty. They got a tank of Ammonium Nitrate gas and injected it into the soil as they turned it. Since they did this as a coop which many of the farmers are in they used a large tractor to do this. They seeded the acre with seeds and took about 15 minutes to do an acre. When the first corn came in they were checking it and decided to taste the corn, "Tasted like chalk," they said and spit it out. Since this was special corn that needed to be processed first you can't eat it. They were growing corn to make corn products. The other farmers gave there few words about the fact how cheap the corn is and that you can't do anything like eat it but sell it for the bottom line. They looked into the products like cattle feed that was made out of the corn materials. There's was one other product that seems to get into everything we eat and is used to sweeten processed foods, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup. It goes into soda mainly. They interviewed a guy that said he was 300 pound and when he stopped drinking soda he lost all that weight. It was to late to reverse the diabetes. They looked into some hospital settings about diabetes. Then it was the look into the subsidies the farmers get. Seems that the farmers can't make any money by just growing corn without any federal subsidies. If they stopped the subsidies the farmers would stop growing corn because they wouldn't grow anything to loose money. I don't know when this was shot but from what they were saying, there is so much of this product that there's a surplus on the market which is making me wonder why the prices are going up.

The new slavery

The new slavery isn't so much like it was 400 years ago. Now it's paying people so little they are all living in poverty. One republican said, "Well they might still be happy even though they don't have everything they want." The rich are getting richer and the poor and middle class are getting poorer. It's not about saving money for the future but just getting by. For those that are connected they get government benefits even though they don't need it, it's that they're in the right place with the right people in power. I heard about a subsidy for people farmers with damages to their live stock due to the shuttle re-entry explosion to the sum of 5 billion dollars. This event happened a few years ago but farmers are getting money for damages even if they didn't have live stock just that they were in the right area with the right republican in office. The farm bill is up for renewal. So many corporations get money not to grow crops or get a guaranteed a good price and when that falls below market they get a check. Selling the crops when the price goes up. Food riots are happening around the world, it should be a warning to the people in government.

For many years now the prices of peoples wages have been going down not keeping up with inflation. That's a word I wonder about and how the markets are being manipulated so the rich can profit during these times and when the dollar gets stronger they would be setting pretty well off with more buying power besides the power they already have for being so rich.

Our view of slavery is a master and his slaves owned like property. Now times have changed, and the owners now use temp slaves. People that are expendable and get just enough money to keep them coming back. They also have rules where you can take time off for yourself to say, look for a better job. You end up driving a couple hours each way to work each day so there's no time to do anything else in your life. Your stuck in this endless loop of getting by.

Republican's talk about the American dream but you can get there from here unless you were born with a platinum spoon in your mouth. Starting from nothing you can only go so far these day. If you have money you can make money which poor people don't have and never will.

Lately I've been hearing about illegals, aliens getting college scholarships and student aid. It's funny thirty plus years ago when I was in college I was working full time while going to school full time. When I applied for student aid I was turned down. When I ask how do I qualify to get student aid. You see I haven't been living at home for years at that time so I didn't understand why they ask me about my parents income. They told me to change my name to a Mexican surname. I didn't understand my father wasn't making that much money, it was a factory job. My mother worked part time. They were just getting by but I was turned down because they made to much even though I didn't live there for years. My parents kept telling me to get a job in a factory somewhere. They never went to college and could understand why it would be good to go to college. When I dropped out at the end of a semester a couple times my GPA went from a 4.o to a 2.5 because I needed to eat and keep a roof over my head. Now illegal fence jumping students are getting a free ride because they are poor fence jumpers that down want to work to put themselves through college like I had to do.

This influx of cheap labor is driving labor prices down except for people like fireman or policemen who have unions that are going to cause the depletion of cities wealth and are really over paid if you ask me. They have a real good retirement package too based on their salary at the time they retire. Most of them get promoted just before they retire too, it's a real trend. If you ever see a cop of fireman at a event, where it take one person there will be at least six. I guess you could make a joke about that. How many cops does it take to change a light bulb? One to do the actual work and six others to bring coffee and donuts for moral support.

If you look at what corporations are doing these days by cutting retirement programs and health care benefits making the worker a disposable commodity. The airlines that went through bankruptcy got the unions to take less money and less benefits then gave the office managers big bonuses for saving the company so much money. This FAA fiasco that's going on right now is part of the cost cutting looking at statistics for saying how safe a airplane is to fly. Playing the odds that if one out of the whole fleet crashes, the insurance will pick up the tab. No loose to the airlines. What gets me is that some airlines get government bail outs while outs get to fold. That has to do with who you know and how much money you donate to campaigns.

If you ever noticed that when people get discounts on things it's always the rich that seem to get prices cut. I never heard a poor person say since I was poor they gave me a huge break. No it doesn't work that way. Say you want to do something to be green and put solar cells on your house. You can get a tax credit for that but the poor who don't have the money to lay out for solar cells that could really use the help get nothing. Every time there is some idea on capital hill it's always people get tax breaks for doing what would benefit them.

It would be a good program to start putting solar cells on all the poor peoples houses free of charge. They would get a benefit for lower cost for their power consumption and there would be more power out there for peak times of the day.

For the most part the energy companies want to have their claws into everything power where you are going to be paying all the time, every month. Just think how much power would be generated if ever person in California had solar cells on there roofs. What is getting me right now is the power companies are telling you to save power but that turns out to be so that more houses can be built. There are so many sell out in offices every where. They are only in office to push through a development for buddies or their self.

When I moved to Northern California I started a series of picture with I called "We Used To Get Food There." It's about the farm lands that are getting homes and econo building put up. This is taking the best farm lands in the world out of productivity and putting a burden on the land. Still working on the series of pictures. Looking at a Google Earth of this area I noticed that the land had what from space looked like a skin condition. It was mini ranches striping the land of water shed plants making bare lands also increasing the heat on the surface because the land was bare. These for the most part are using well water which is depleting the water table making the creeks flow less.

So, as people get less and less for doing more and more without having a master to take care of them because they are now disposable, there's no reason for improvement since there's another worker around the corner that is desperate for work. They say slavery ended after the civil war but has it really. If you making tons of money from a person and not sharing the benefits of those profits, then it's just like slavery. You get a few trinkets for breaking you back and if you get damaged in the process your on your own. The master isn't going to take care of you. Your broken and can't work so what do you do? Some people turn to crime and sell drugs to make ends meet. Some like the cop that started robbing banks to pay his bills.

From the beginning of this countries history it's been about taking advantage of people for your better living. Now it's the republicans mantra. They say in the bible which I doubt that most of these religious right republican haven't read, the meek shall inherit the earth. What does that mean. My best guess is that when things fall apart and you have to live off the land again, the meek, which live off the land and use the least share dominate the earth. It would be great to get these meek people who think they don't count start voting for a more perfect world, stopping pollution, ending hunger, making it where money isn't the root of all evil but people working because they want to work because their efforts would be for the benefit of man and not for a few people that think of scams to get peoples money selling them useless junk and food. No more paper that is worth nothing and getting to be worth less as time goes by. No more people rolling the dice of the economy beating that things would fail and making money off that. This is the communication age maybe this could be the start of the communication world government where we can leave these scamming, swindling leader out and do what's right for the world.

What I've seen today

Every day there's always something new to see. It always amazes me on how much I see every day. Some the same some things totally new. It's spring and with spring brings the flowers and blossoms on the trees. That brings in the bees which haven't been out all that much since it's been cold.

I have been making updated bird bath watering bowls for the birds and mammals. Been watching a woodpecker building a nest. Not sure if it's two birds or one bird making a hole on both sides of the tree. He didn't like me getting close to his work as I worked on the bird bath. Even at the water, about 20 feet away, the bird wouldn't come down and start working.

While moving stones for the bird bath I saw a small lizard like creature. It's almost a snake with real small hands and feet. The other day I saw a real small snake not much bigger then the lizard, about the size of a pencil but half the size around.

There were two quail that come by the last couple days. That's real good to see them. Hope to see a lot more. Waiting to see some baby turkeys soon and also baby skunks, maybe next month. Still trying to make up a housing complex for the skunks so they don't need to live under the house. I don't mind, for the most part they are well behaved as far as you can expect for skunks. They sure are miss understood creatures. For me they come up and walk around me and I never have any problems with them. Last year one of the babies would lean up against my warm foot, just like mom.

Humming birds don't even use the feeder and are taking advantage of all the flowers. I got a few great pictures of the little birds while gardening. They don't seem to be bothered to much by my presents.

The varieties of grasses are growing and the deer are grazing on the grass and trees.

Been hearing owls at night. Can't see the stars with the on and off clouds and rain and cold.

Well, "Wait-wait don't tell me" is on so time to take a time out.

MSRA at St. Elizabeth Heath Care Hospital

Has anyone you know come down with MSRA at St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospital in Brea? Please let me know. I believe that the contaminations have been transmitted due to poor laundry practices. In stead of doing one persons cloths in a load of laundry so that there wouldn't be any cross contamination. St. Elizabeth does everyones laundry together including cloths with fecal matter and doesn't not properly rinse cloths leaving soap, fecal matter and other organics in the cloths.

If anyone in your family has come down with MSRA from St. Elizabeth Hospital Brea or anywhere please post and tell me your story.

Here's the BEEF about MSRA

Been trying to find out more about MSRA and how it's past around hospitals. Looking at the state web site they have a real cute cartoonish PDF about MSRA. This link above has one thing I was interested in because my father seem to be contaminated by dirty laundry. Where the hospital didn't do the laundry properly and left things like heavy deposits of soap in the garments. If that has happened then I believe that the cloths with fecal matter were just distributed to other cloths contaminating every one that came into contact with them.
Looking up the hospital and the residence complaints there were none.
What gets me is there's no reporting of how the contaminations happen. To find out which hospital has a problem is real hard also since they are paying customers to the search engines then nothing negative comes out about paying customers.
Seems to me that every hospital should have all the errors and infection that happen in a state data base which a law was past last year to have. Finding out that information is another endeavor though.
Working with data bases over the years, even a phone list which I do is better then the states data base. Sort of reflect how the government works. The FBI hired a company in San Diego to make up a data base search program. Millions of dollars and years later the program didn't work and the company was fired, having to start the whole process over.
According to this web page the state requires that MSRA infections need to be reported. This is great for the state but how can you make an informed decision on what hospital you want to go to.
Here's a list of the common infections in the state but it doesn't tell you where they are and what the density is in the city areas.
I don't want to see a fact sheet that tells me what to do to prevent the infections because I know that. I want to know where those infections are and in what density. The USGS has risk maps and shake maps where earthquakes could happen. This same approach should be available with infections. Hearing on the news that "West Nile" infection happened in this one person in this one area doesn't give you a true information on the density of the mosquito infections and how the population of mosquitoes are. Saying we found a bird contaminated in this one area doesn't give you much information. What is the density of mosquitoes in that area. This year was the first year I've seen mosquitoes all year round because it never got cold enough to kill the insects this winter. It's also the driest it's ever been here since I've moved here too. My creek hasn't flowed all year which it used to when I first moved here did. I used to get as much as three feet of water in the creek in the winter months but it seems no one is really interested because other pressing problems like the state budget, the war on terror or terrorist, the economy, sub-prime loans, the recession, or the price of gasoline are more important. I guess money is more important then having a planet that will support life is more important.
Well I'm rambling so I'll stop and continue doing my research on hospitals and infections.

Just when you thought you had it all then it happen, new stuff

Soon at a store near you. I haven't even got to USB 2.0 yet
Intel News Release

Popular USB Computer Connection Technology Expands performance with Proposed USB 3.0 Specification

INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM, San Francisco, Sept. 18, 2007 – Intel Corporation and other industry leaders have formed the USB 3.0 Promoter Group to create a superspeed personal USB interconnect that can deliver over 10 times the speed of today's connection. The technology, also developed by HP, Microsoft Corporation, NEC Corporation, NXP Semiconductors and Texas Instruments Incorporated, will target fast sync-and-go transfer applications in the PC, consumer and mobile segments that are necessary as digital media become ubiquitous and file sizes increase up to and beyond 25 Gigabytes.

USB (Universal Serial Bus) 3.0 will create a backward-compatible standard with the same ease-of-use and plug and play capabilities of previous USB technologies. Targeting over 10x performance increase, the technology will draw from the same architecture of wired USB. In addition, the USB 3.0 specification will be optimized for low power and improved protocol efficiency. USB 3.0 ports and cabling will be designed to enable backward compatibility as well as future-proofing for optical capabilities.

"USB 3.0 is the next logical step for the PC's most popular wired connectivity," said Jeff Ravencraft, technology strategist with Intel and president of the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF). "The digital era requires high-speed performance and reliable connectivity to move the enormous amounts of digital content now present in everyday life. USB 3.0 will meet this challenge while maintaining the ease-of-use experience that users have come to love and expect from any USB technology."

Intel formed the USB 3.0 Promoter Group with the understanding that the USB-IF would act as the trade association for the USB 3.0 specification. A completed USB 3.0 specification is expected by the first half of 2008. USB 3.0 implementations will initially be in the form of discrete silicon.

The USB 3.0 Promoter Group is committed to preserving the existing USB device class driver infrastructure and investment, look-and-feel and ease-of-use of USB while continuing to expand this great technology's capabilities.

About the USB-IF
The non-profit USB Implementers Forum, Inc. was formed to provide a support organization and forum for the advancement and adoption of USB technology. Who they did that and why they are not protecting it

Attorney General says FBI is still getting US citizens personal information and it's even more then they requested. Mean while Bush insists that congress pass a bill giving a blanket protection to companies gathering information about people. Rather it's a phone call, a email or text message like on a blackberry which purposively is one of the communications that caught Spitzer. Congress wants to know what they are protecting but Bush won't tell them.

I agree that you can't make a law protecting some one or some thing if you don't know what it is. We still can't find out why the whitehouse had some people fired and the emails from the whitehouse which are suppose to be archived. The torture tapes were destroys and it wasn't an ooops of one tape being taped over, it was 200 to 300 tapes that were destroyed.

The idea that you trust a person that lied about a war and why he wanted to get into it and now it looks like they are planning for this war to continue at least for another 10 years. We are been blasted day after day why we need to invade another country because of a weapons development program they gave up 5 years ago. But Bush doesn't believe the intelligences and insists he knows better.

This sound like the same things the Germans did before they invaded Poland, being told that Poland was planning to attack them so they need to attack Poland before they attack.

So, big brother is watching you also listening and reading your mail. You can now get tortured. FBI and law enforcement can do what they call a sneak and peak into your house without a warrant. To me this doesn't even sound like a country of laws anymore. It sound more like the totalitarian countries the president is talking about to be democracy to. I guess the next step would be secret prisons for the dissidents what we got that already, Gitmo and a numerous other secret prison in countries you never heard of. We have private army contractors bigger then the army's of many counties. 50% of the contractors in Iraq are this private army which just so happens to be called Blackwater an acronym for oil or hasn't everyone got that yet. The police dogs and enforcers of the corporations. Also a friend of the republican Neo-Cons.

My God, we have become them, the people we have been taught to hate.

You get what you pay for

Why do men hirer $1000 dollar a night prostitutes? Hearing some explanations on the radio really didn’t make sense for me. Saying it was daring for that man. That it was for convenience purposes when a mate wasn’t available.

What I see is a person with the money to spend a $1000 dollars for a night for a professional woman is because he can. You get a quality woman someone of the beauty as a movie star if not better. They are clean a disease free. I’m sure if you gave any average “Joe” on the street the money or the woman and say, have at it, they would take it in a New York minute.

If you noticed the news has said that many of the girls cost up much more then $1000 a night. I’m thinking they are something real special. The news also compared Bill Clinton as hiring a prostitute also, wonder how that make Monica feel, well I guess she was a working girl in one way or another.

To hear all these people especially the republicans being outraged after being caught many times soliciting sex from some one, Larry Craig. Or a minister saying how bad homosexual is then he finds out he is one and have been paying a male prostitute plus doing methamphetamine, Reverent Ted who said he didn’t have sex in Denver as his defense, since it was in a out lying area. That was the truth as far as saying it was not in Denver. He never denied that he had sex with a male prostitute or did speed and it wasn’t a little speed like a casual user might get it was a ¼ ounce, something that a person could use for a couple months. Maybe he needed a bump to write all those anti gay sermons on the mount. Then he went to anti-gay camp and was cured of his gayness, ya right.

As far as Elliot goes, I say right on for getting quality goods that men only dream about. As far as how they found out about it, that warrant-less wire tapping really works when you want to destroy a political opponent. Then again the very rich companies that he went after have enough money a resources that they could monitor his behaviors and find out just about anything about anyone. Just look at all that junk mail that is targeted towards you. Republicans are feeling rather desperate right now and won’t stop at anything to win. So the man is human and had to relieve a little tension, it just cost more then the average guy could pay but if they could I’m sure they would be giving them a call.

If you listen to the pop culture there aren’t very many singers that don’t talk about getting a professional woman. You get what you pay for.

It's the sun and blossoming flowers

What a great day, the sun is out. The plum, pear, cherry and willows trees have buds and flowers. There's also daffodils opening up. Last night I had the windows open until 10 PM. The air smells so fresh and clean. The little birds are out, so are the squirrels. The young squirrels are playing with there little friends the game of chase, testing out their squirrel skills. Winters not over and it's spring like weather. Hope it doesn't have any snow in the future like past years where it knocked off the blossoms of some of the fruit trees. That was a poor years for fruit. If it stays like this with gentle rain then it's going to be a good fruit year but it's going to be dry. The creek hasn't got any water. Last two years the creek was flowing but stopped early in the year. When I first moved here the creek flowed all year round. Lot's of deadwood to trim from the trees. A happy forest is a clean forest. There's a calm right now with the birds and squirrels everyone is enjoying the day. In about an hour they will be back to get the last snack before they perch in the trees for the night. Last night was nice hearing the first owls and frogs.

An oil company manipulating the market, imagine that.

An oil company manipulating the market, imagine that. Like an oil company could do that to get it's way to drill in Alaska, again. Just like the first time they manipulated the market in the 70's to get the Alaskan Pipeline in, driving the price of oil higher to get their way. They are doing it again to get their way to drill in a wild life sanctuary. Imagine that.

A president because he is in oil letting it happen. Imagine that.

A vice president because he is in oil. Imagine that.

McCain to follow in Bush's foot steps.

McCain is getting senile and wants to follow the loosing strategy of Bush's. Out of touch and out of mind with real Americans. Must be getting to old for complex thinking other wise he wouldn't be sucking up to Bush. He forgot what Bush has done and said about him. Not good, short term memory loss. Saying that the invasion of Iraq is in the past and we shouldn't worry about it. He must be getting a big check in some secret bank account to have such a turn around. Why would we want a president that doesn't know anything about the economy, he said it. He just following the same stuff Bush is doing a touch of death to anything he touches. We can't let big business have a president that's bought off like Bush or Bush's brain Chaney. After hearing Bush's speech today talking about drilling for oil in a wild life refuge it's clear to me that the high price of oil is just like before the Alaskan pipeline was built and Exxon manipulated the market. Mean while Bush keep pumping oil into the ground in what called the Strategic Oil Reserve, a program the was started to put oil in the ground when oil was cheap. Some one, most likely Bush's friends are making record amounts of money. They don't even have to refine the oil just pump it into the ground. If you can drill a hole to pump oil into this salt dome than others can drill a hole into that salt dome and pump it out without anyone knowing. Then you just sell the oil back to the Strategic Reserve and the cycle goes round and round. The price of oil won't go down until Exxon gets it's way and gets to drill in Alaska.

Bush and McCain think big business need more tax breaks and not to pay taxes. History is repeating itself just like the Roman Empire fell because the rich never paid taxes and the poor had too until it failed.

As far as the world goes, the republicans still don't believe in any science except when it can be used to make money such as refining more oil or burning coal.

If no one caught it today in Bush's speech, he said, "Until we can find a way of sequestering coal" and not sequestering Carbon Dioxide.

Poor Bush did too much partying and now has a wet brain that's why he stammers with his words. It's permanent brain damage. He wants to think he's in charge so when he's "The decider" he won't go back on any decisions. He's insecure about his decisions and his mental capabilities.

Just like Katrina and the lack of a response there he's doing the same thing with the economy. Let's wait and hope it fixes itself then take credit for it. Drunks are like that you know.

Exxon vs. Alaska, what should happen

Hearing what Exxon has to say for itself as far a weaseling out of responsibility's over paying punitive damages. I think Alaska needs to boot them out and keep all there toys. Exxon has been dragging it's feet all along even when it came to the clean up or reporting that they ran a ground. As Exxon is stating that they want this done under maritime laws maybe that will work too. Take there ships away. Take the pipeline away. Hang the sailors that were on the ship at the time of the spill and any other crew that is in Alaska now. Treat them as a hostile country and invade Exxon around the world. Don't stop until Exxon is no more.

After all they were the ones that caused the oil shortage back in the late 70's to get the pipeline by putting pressure on the people of the United States. There wasn't a shortage.

Corporations need to be held responsible for what they do along with the people that run them. Has they did in days of old, they tarred and feathered the people that hurt a community.
