Google Looking at me

What about data mining?

I was just think, again, that the "Patriot Act" where as the government gets to check out our reading habits at the library, is more then just that or could be. We know how credit card companies use our buying habits to predict what your going to buy next. Even what food you like and car you drive and want to drive. Where you want to go on vacation. Did you ever think what OnStar does for the government? It's like LowJack keeping track of you and your car. What about that cell-phone? A little GPS sending unit that keeps track of your where "abouts" going from cell site to site. As they used to say, close enough for horse shoes and hand grenades. Now the government is using data miners to predict your habits too. Is he a terrorist or could he be one. What's he reading on the web? What politics do they want to hear. What will they believe. It's a media circus and the G-Men are pulling the strings. They sold us a war and blamed it totally on the people that were suppose to know what's going on in the world. When they called it a rush to war, it was because if we hung out to long we would find out the truth and then no war. Right now the government is fighting the VoIP companies becasue the signals are encrypted. You can do that with your e-mail but like anything it can be cracked.

Tom Delay said it was ten year in the works but in Mike Moore's movie it's evident that no one read the bill that they were signing. I guess you can compare it to the credit card companies telling you 0% interest, then the fine print says for 6 month. Then after that the annual interest will go up to 18 percent. Then more fine print, if you screw up in any other part of your finance your rate will jump to the max of 25% annually. They used to call people like loan sharks but that was when life was still the American Dream and you could have one.

Good morrning "Critters"

Event one's here, well not everyone Bug Buddy and four of his friends. The boy's really didn't hold back from me today. Big Buddy was always in the front of the pack. One of the guys which I should call him "Mister Magoo Eyes" because of the loose skin around his eyes. You really can see the emotions of the deer when he looks around. They all have little buds starting on their heads. Wish I could find out where they drop all their antlers. They still have their winter coats but that should thin soon. One of the turkeys was trying to protect the pile of grain I tossed but that didn't keep that long.

Have one hungry squirrel on the porch already. No hens yet.

The Republicans keep saying the Demarcates need to put a fix on the table but it just shows that the Republicans have nothing going on. The Republicans are a bunch of whinny name callers and that is getting old. Bush keeps telling people to invest in stocks and bonds but what if they are all junk bonds like what went down during the first Bush administration. That's when they Wall Street walked off with 7 trillion dollars. Sure they were fined but it was only $1.2 billion dollars which just shows you how insecure the stock market is and how much you can loose.

Bush wants to give us a "New Deal" it's "kiss your ass good bye deal."  If I didn't know better, it looks like he's trying to make the world so unstable so the rich can pick up the pieces after the worlds economy collapses. He got his drilling in Alaska, He's still working on drilling in the "Rocky's." Why aren't they going for the oil off Florida, because Jeb says no, no he want' Jeb to look good enough to run for President then they will start drilling there. If you ask me, Bush wants to send everyone into poverty for low wage workers. It's not about just the old but there is a lot of people collecting because they became disabled or parents have died. If anything we need to cut the retirement founds going to Congress and the Senate. For every one congress person, you could take care of a 100 people. Congress people are generally rich people anyway so why do they need to take such a cut of the taxes.

What a great day.

Foot is killing me but I did get a few things done around here.
Had my big boots on the Lowas.

Turkeys hung out most of the day until dusk.
It's fun watching the birds but I found a dead robin.
I think he died of the cold.
Don't know if it might be something else like some virus.

Worked on a couple antennas.
One for the alarm and the other for the TV.
That beam should make things come in a lot better.

The little squirrels can't stop eating.
One day one of them will explode from eating to much.

Haven't seen any deer in the last couple days.
Bobcat was here last night for the turkey and chicken bones.
That could have kept them away but I have noticed when the weather is bad they come around.

All and all the day was rather warm and sunny.
Hope tomorrow is as good.
Maybe I'll hang the TV antenna.

Right now, getting tired and need to eat.
Then maybe sleep or watch a movie.
Nothing on the Tube but junk so I might put in a DVD.

Marburg Spreads in Angola as Death Toll Hits 174

By Stephanie Nebehay
GENEVA (Reuters) - The World Health Organization (WHO) Friday called for stepping up measures in Angola to halt the further spread of the deadly Marburg virus, which has killed 174 people mainly in the north of the country.

The United Nations agency said a first case of the incurable disease had been found in Kuanza Sul, the sixth province in the northwest to be hit, while a suspect death was also under investigation in neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo.

There was an unusually high death rate among the 200 cases identified since October, mainly in the northern town of Uige, with an overwhelming number of initial cases striking children under 5 years old, the WHO said in a statement.

"The situation right now in Angola is not under control yet...This is still a health crisis at the national level and requires a profound commitment both from national authorities and the international community in order to contain this disease," Mike Ryan, director of WHO's alert and response operations, told a news briefing.

Some 50 international experts have been deployed in Angola, where 27 years of civil war have left weakened health systems and staff untrained for coping with a major epidemic, he said.

By isolating victims and tracing their contacts, officials were "breaking the chain of transmission" in Uige, he said.

Two deaths have been confirmed from Marburg in Luanda, a teeming capital of 4 million people, where six more cases are being investigated, Ryan said.

There was no evidence of transmission within Luanda, where the two deaths have been a 15-year-old boy and a nurse, he said.

But Ryan noted the densely populated city saw "movement and exchange of people between all areas of Angola," adding: "Therefore it is crucially important that the surveillance systems and isolation units have to be fully established in Luanda, both to maintain confidence in travel to Angola and also to protect that population. That is ongoing."

Separately, the United Nations issued an emergency appeal to donors for $3.5 million to combat the virus, one of the most virulent pathogens known, over the next three months.

The rare haemorrhagic fever, related to the deadly Ebola virus, is characterized by headaches, nausea, vomiting and bloody diarrhea. It is spread through close contact with bodily fluids including blood, saliva and semen.

The outbreak has surpassed the previous record of 123 deaths in a 1998-2000 epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The hospital itself in Uige, a town of 500,000, may have contributed to spreading the virus, according to Pierre Formenty, a WHO expert on haemorrhagic fevers.

"There is a possibility ... that the hospital served to infect children who came to be treated there. It is not confirmed, but it is a hypothesis," Formenty told reporters.

Twelve health care workers were among the total 200 cases.

Medical anthropologists were enlisting tribal leaders to inform the often illiterate population about the dangers of contracting the disease while caring for the sick or preparing bodies for burial, Formenty said.

"Our simple message is very clear: don't touch sick patients and don't touch bodies," he said.

Still raining.....

Well, having a bad weather day, again. The sky is getting lighter but the storm is still moving this way at 10 miles per hour. From what I hear on the radio there is a tornado and severe storm warning until 6:50 PM.

Now that Terry and the Pope have past, what about that "Marburro Virus" in Angola? Just a passing threat or something to worry about. Well, it's in Africa and for the most part it's been hands off for the white countries. Let them run themselves into the ground and let the White's pick up the pieces when the worst is over, I guess. They say this virus is worse then the E-Bola virus. Wonder why it's not in the news?

Been going over some of my old notes and videos. Forgot so much over the years. For that much the world has forgot so much. It's day to day and hour to hour and not year to year, no long term planning. It's what's the price of gas today. "Oh, by the way, we are going to drill for oil in Alaska's wild life sanctuary."

I can hear the 2 meter hams coming up the hill complaining about the weather. Good thing I'm inside.

Going to cook a turkey tonight, not one of my buddies but a store bought one. 12 pounder. That should last me a couple weeks.

Been changing my front side bus clock and it seems to speed up the computer. Not sure if it's hurting anything. If I can I'll keep pushing it until it's not going to run any faster but stable. So far the front side bus clock is set at 142 and that works out to 284 and that pushes the system to 2.0 gigs plus as it says in easy inspection. Good thing I have lots of fans in the cabinet. Think I'll get off line and push it 2 more and see what happens. The worst is that it locks up and I have to rest the BIOS.

Lot of one car accidents out today. Morons racing home in the rain rolling over.

WET Out

Yes it's raining again. Critters are outside getting a bite to eat. Some of the hens are walking up onto the porch but the squirrels chase them off. Sunflower seeds are everyone's favorite. I still see them eating corn and bugs. The bug patrol is when they are scratching the leaves and looking of the good juicy bugs.

Think the pentax battery is dead. Can't get the LCD to come up. Was trying the 500mm lens on it since something isn't working well with the Canon's. I'll figure it out but not right now, it's raining and I want to just lay down and stay warm. Such a nice green outside with the low soft light. I'd need a long exposure to get one of those. Maybe I'll try it with the 10 second countdown.

Didn't get to much rain last night. The thunder storm was a lot of bite and barking too. I broke my toe as I went to the door to see if there as a strike. The thunder and lightning happened at the same time so it was real close.

Have two ups units going, now. One will be just for the alarm system. The other one will drive the computers. It's just a matter of power distribution. Going to try to make something that would be more solar over the next year or so. The wind turbine with the pulse generation of power. Not to many people use this system since I seen it used on a BSA motorcycle.

This "March Madness" is a great marketing ploy. Myself, I can't see it. I liked playing sports growing up but I can't see sitting on the couch and getting fat.

Dream Speakers, again.

Been thinking of making the same speakers but using 10 inch speakers and miniturize the cabinets. Need to do the math to see how the back pressure works out. See if I can get things in phase.

Usually this works good with Foxfire but this time it looks better with IE.

Ohhh, my little toe.

The first lightning strike knocked me off the couch. I ran to the door and looked outside to see if a tree hit the house or if the lightning bold hit any trees. My right ear is still ringging. The lights went out and I could see the flash of the bolt. I tripped on a bunch of tool boxes that I'm going to take down to the tool shed. Well, those tool boxes stayed right there and my toe cracked into it. The power has gone off and back on a half dosen times so far. I have my laptop set up on the ups unit but I'm one the big computer right now. It looks like the cell has moved over us. The rain is still coming down on a 45 degree angle. There was another flash about a half second away. going to get off this computer befor I loose power or get hit. Need to check NOAA site for strikes.

Long day

Had to take a mid-day nap today. Put in the new spot light, light in the kitchen. Started that at 7 AM and finished around 11 AM. Had to take in my Saturday morning NPR Station.

Was thinking about Greene's 11 dimension string theory, which I like to call wave node theory, it's just a little cleaner that way the way things work out.

Been thinking of a way of setting up a multi-visual astronomy base here. Going from low frequency to light. If I could get the e-ray maps to fit to my system it would give you a good view of what's out there and what time it is. The question what time is it really? Speaking relative to the rest of out known universe. Based on the big bang and constant expandtion, there must be other "universe" out there too. It's just that we never over lapped or maybe we did and haven't seen them yet. They are to far in the past. It's to bad we can't make a computer model to place the universe as it is now, in real time. No lag time like the edge of the big bang. Some where in space there is a large shock wave traveling out there. Wonder if it's slowing and at what progression. We know the heat decay.

Rain is on the way, going to check NOAA before I get off here. Need to find out if I can do some of the concrete work to seal the one side of the foundation.

The apple tree that fell over last storm I propped up and it seems to be growing again. Thing I'll give it a vitamin fix tomorrow. I just hate working in pouring rain. And to think, there was a day I'd think anyone that couldn't drive a bike in a driving rain or snow storm was a woos. Must be getting old. Had to use bi-pods to set the tree right. Those days of muscling up a tree with out aids are over. Bi-pods, tri-pods, pullies and ropes and cables are the way to do it. It takes longer and I never thought I'd be applying physics this way instead of making tin cans land on a dime. Wonder how Robin's father is doing, he did do the equasions for the "Apollo" moon trips. Some thing cool to through on your resume.

The other Robin, Wonder if she still where's the ring I gave her. That was a love that just went wrong but we needed to grow. Wonder what would have happened if we would have gotten married. It would have been a real difffernet reality.

Great Observation

The little fuzzy thing I thought was an ugly cat turned out to be a Bobcat. Just a bit bigger then the house cat. Looked like it had a mind of it's own and was using it.

I hooked up my squirrel cam. Not to good at night but good at dusk settings. Going to set it's focus real close and put a pile of seeds in from of it see how many pictures I can get. Close-ups!

Wrist are still feeling funky after the two cortisone shot in them. I think they will feel better in a couple days.

Still working on my horizontal TV antenna.. Just doing a bit of beefing up and making it a bit stronger and more directional.

Happiness is a working calculator!

Bed room door is almost finished. Need to do some shaping and sanding. A little filling of the molding and screws.

Need to do some chain sawing after this last rain. Got 12 - 14 inches in a bucket which works out to 12 - 14 feet of snow up top.

Living here it's either wet, wet or dry, dry, dry weather. Prevention of water damage is very important. Also, dry wrought is an summer destroyer. It's amazing that anything is still standing here after 150 year. The stone work was don good. The Victorian houses did a good job of following good building practices. I've seen some wood work that is failing after just a few years. Craftmanship is something that is dying out.

Week in review

There was a few more jolts in the Indonesia area. I know a person there and she seem to give me a real and different take of what is going on when the earth shakes there. Speaking of the earth shaking, PBS just had a special on earthquakes in the cascade range. Which is a fault like the one that made the Andes where the Incas go. "Carve up a hill, for a ship to land in the Andes, PARK IT, PARK IT." Excuses me, couldn't resist Frank Zappa humor. Ha, they even named a rock after the place, "Andisite". Which is a rock that comes from a subduction zone, just like the subduction zone that runs along the North West coast. Did you catch the week in review? Bush says all life is precious and then signs a bill to drill in a "Wild Life Sanctuary." Sanctuary, isn't that like going to a church or being in a church? You seek "Sanctuary to be at peace or to run from danger. Mean while around the world 90 plus countries hate the United States and want to do everything they can to get rid of it. Now to tie this all together. Gas is up, thinking are down and the world can live with out us again. Yes it gave us another warning this week. Remember what happened to the world the last time Krakatoa past some gas. (1400's 1800's it blew ash around the world for 150 years the first time thus calling it the dark ages. In the 1800's the shock wave was heard around the would and dimmed the sun for two weeks. I'd like the two week version rather then the 150 years without sun light, make it hard for plants to grow.)

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid

I was taking some close up pictures of moss and flowers. What I forgot to rmember is to look what I'm laying in and on. I'm sure this is going to be a good case of posion oak. There are some bumps on the back of my neck and head that are killing me. I'll have to call the doctor tomorrow,

Well, no more flower pictures for a few days. The rain has started. I had to do some dirt moving the last few days. The rains really was coming down in the last storm, about 9 inches. I noticed a oil film coming down the hill from the east side. Also the rain gutters don't tip down hill. The water is leaking into the house from the south side and I just had the celler dried out.

Been getting a lot done here as far as the closet goes. I can put 10 more boxes of cloths in there.
Well, on coat hangers. Still have about six boxes to unpack. I need a 1x12x5 feet for the shelf. I used a couple of thos parts of the closet orginizer. Going to put some more shelves in the second bed room. Need to do some thing about the closet in that room.

Well, well, Jordan's on so it's getting close to bed time.

What a week!

What happened to the past week, as a mater of fact what happened to the past two or three weeks, I let my computer set the time "Automatically": but it doesn't seem to work since I re installed everything getting rid of those pesky programs, My hibernate doesn't work. I need to figure out this modem sharing.

Well, Easter tomorrow, guess I'll do some painting. The pains are still going on the right side of me. Still I think this has something to do with my knee.

Working one a hybrid antenna into a super TV antenna. Two Verticals, one high gain horizontal beam. Some of the channels are coming in better but some others are not so good. When I get the horizontal beam it should work better on the low end. It's been about two years since I haven't been able to receive the channel guide. At least that's working now.

The apple tree that fell over was made a bit shorter and modified like a trout mask replica. The roots are in the ground and the ground has been packed in. I also gave it some miracle grow. maybe I can get the parts that were growing can get going.

I'm so worn out from the rain the fast few days. Working in the rain just suck the heat from you. Then when something smacks you in the head it's a real shock to the head. Speaking of head my sinuses are doing me in. It's those oak trees, My car turns this sort of powered yellow. Well I'm going to call it a night and what ever needs to get done will have to wait.

More Smoke and Mirrors

The news is crying out, save the brain dead lady.
No one's talking about who is going to pay for this but it has to be done.
It's not coming out of George's Medical Budget this year or any year in the future.

Oh, and by the way, we are going to start drilling in a "Wild Life Sanctuary in Alaska."
Ya, we can get a million barrels of oil per day just like that BP pipeline that should go online this years some time.

For those of your listeners who don't remember what happened when the oil companies couldn't get their way for the first Alaskan Pipeline. We forget the long lines and the even and odd days in which you could get gas. Then when the pipeline was put in the price of oil dropped a little but not much. I guess that's where we get the term, "they got you over a barrel."

For a President that claims to be doing common since things I have to question is that something a drunk would come up with?

What the real cost are

The insurance companies are like the mafia, you pay them so nothing happens to you.
You have to remember that insurance companies are not just into one service.
If you make a claim on your car because of an accident, the money doesn't come out of just one company but a insurance corporation.
Look are "General Insurance Corporation," "and their little lizard commercials" "Sears, and All-State the largest credit lenders in the nation." Nation Wide with all their subsidiaries. I haven't even started on the Health braches of insurance companies. Remember, they are corporations and not just companies. They make money by investing in places like the stock market, loaning money to banks and you pay for their investments because you are the end sucker that nothing is suppose to go wrong in your life. How about that life insurance, you get to collect after your dead, what a deal.

Well, lets start at the bad energy investments in Mexican energy back in the 70's and 80's that went bust?
What about those earthquakes in California?
What about all those "Tornados" and "Hurricanes" in the South East?
What about those real bad investments in Wall Street?
Remember Wall Street sucked 7 trillion dollars from people. They had to only pay 1.2 billion in fines and were asked not to do it again. No one went to jail either. This same group was a large contributors to the "Republican Party."

Why did the price go up in California? Because they would pay it.
Why does your car insurance in California go up, because they made it the law to have it.
This made it so every one had to buy insurance and now they could charge anything they wanted.

When it comes to insurance companies paying out money they drag their feet.
There are people that still haven't been paid for the devastation of the earthquakes in California.
There are some people that still haven't been paid from the Hurricanes in Florida like hurricane Andrew some 15 years ago.

The only way that we could make this all fair to all the people of the United States is to Nationalize Medical Insurance, We need to nationalize medicine too.
This will be the only way that it would be fair to all.
You could also work "Social Security" into this same program.
This would make the United State the biggest investor in the world and would make us a better country and not a country of people that spend all their time thinking of ways to steel money from others with in the laws we have set up.

Hot day.

Second day of wearing shorts. Taking a break and having some coffee. Need to get outside and change my oil next. So many projects but I feel so much better now that I've been on Prozac. Before that, I was just draging form day to day.

The smell of something dead under the house is almost gone so I'll be going under the house soon. I'll let the fans run for a few more days.

The amount of flowers popping up is unbelievable. Every day there is dosens more. You can tell it's spring the bugs are coming out.

Don't believe it. Must be the Bushniks sensering me

Just got done writing for two hours. Then when I went to check the spelling I lost everything. That darn MS firewall crap came up and asked if I wanted to permit the pop up. I pressed yes. Then every thing was gone.

More later.

Late night and nothing on but repeats

Was outside until 6:00PM to night. My legs hurt from all I've did today. Doesn't seem like much but it was. Lot's of little things. Picked up a end table and little TV at the thrift store. Good twenty dollar investment. The only thing is I can't find a remote for the TV. For now I'll use the VCR tuner. Going to have to run to the box store and see if they have one.

myATI - Thank you

myATI - Thank you

Can't keep up with drivers and new chip sets

What a time trying to get updates to my ATI video board. Looking at the list of video boards that they have made in the last four years is totally amazing. My board alone have a good dozen or so. Not only did they change the chip, they changed the drivers. The driver that are the latestdon't work with my board. I thought it was the FCC law that you had to give 10 years of support. Don't ask for a schematic, they will think yuo want it to copy their junk. Well, when the price comes down on the new board I want I'll get it. This one will move down the line to my other desk top where I do scanning and printing. That's something else I need, a printer that will print tabloid size paper.

It's to bad I was struck down with all these illnesses. From the Hep-C which took three years out of my life. Even more if you count the recovery time. Now my back is doing it again. I've been through two operations so far and it seems like it took about 3 years each to learn to walk again. To top it all off, my eyes are going. For some one that enjoys looking at nature and seeing the beauty in most every thing you see, it's rather depressing. I thought when I moved here I was going to die but I went through the hep-c treatment again which almost killed me.

This being poor crap is very depressing too. I used to make rather good money. Nothing to be called rich. Just where I could get anything I wanted any time I wanted.

What about the people that go out of there way to steel from you!

There's a girl in Fullerton that I have a real dislike or anger towards. It must have been from all the drug use and the people they hung around with. They all were professional criminals. I never met any one like them before. What I'm getting at is I was living with some friends and had all my stuff in storage. Her and her boy friend I thought were friends at least in the way they wouldn't steel from you. They all turned out to be real losers. Wendy Weidman and Jaime Hacke had a child together. They also liked dancing. A mutual friend ask me to come out to one of there camp outs to take pictures of the event. After going to there houses for several years, I thought I could call them friends. I should have been warned when Jaime was busted for transporting pot for Jesse. I didn't know how involved they all were but it was a living. They didn't need to work what we call a regular job. From the growing of pot on indian lands to the distabution parties. I thought it was just a group of people getting to gether but it turned out to be the dedicated buyers and sellers.

Well, my dilema, I loaned them my "Stereo and TV." Not just any stereo but a 450 true RMS watt output tuner with all the video in and outputs. It was set up for a daul Cassete or tape drives, CD's, Laser Disks, 2 VCR's, and phono input for a magnetic cartridge. That was just the tuner. The TV was a Sony Trinitron with picture in picture. It had 3 audio and video inputs. Lets see, one CD player, One dual cassete deck, one turn table, one VCR. I think this is all the electronic parts. Then there was the speakers, the two fron speakers were custom made 5 way speakers. The center speaker was a radio shack shealded speaker. The rear speakers were two to small ones that went with a sub-wolffer. Then there was the two Altec "Voice of the theater" speaker in oak cabnets. Wendy told me that last time I talked to her that the TV didn't work. I can imagine how lazy she is because her daughter threw the remote on the floor. Then when Jaime picked it up he set it on a table, where she picked it up again and put it in a large glass of water. Wendy doesn't remember that because of her drinking. Drinking does that to people.

Still raining and still back pain

Been raining on and off today, mostly on. Turkeys all showed up and the boys were showing off for the girls. There has been several new little squirrels coming out with their mothers. Didn't see any deer today. There is one flower that had opened up. I'll have to post it.

The back pain is just un-believable. It reminds me of when I had surgery. The pills don't work are all. Well, they do, I do bump into things but the back pain going from my waste down to my toes. I can't stand for to long, only a few minutes before I have to sit or lay down.

Had to re-format my drive on the desk top computer. It started acting weird, dialing the phone and restarting. I had to much junk on it anyway.

PAIN and NO SLEEP

Well, things were much easier 18,630.75 days ago. Now this old body is giving out from too much fun. Yes, too much fun. Too much sex. Too much running. To much falling of big rocks. And worst of all was the legal stuff I drank. Yes, "alcohol damages every body." I ruins the integrity of every cell. You could say it's like a paper bag. While the bag is dry it's rather strong. Get that bag wet and it falls a part.

To top it all off, my hard drive on my desk top is giving me some problems. Maybe it's only a virus or bad ATI software drivers. Having a hard drive fail right now would ruin me financially. I know I do want to get a big drive but I don't want to have to be forced to doing that. I'd buy a tire for my car if I had any extra money.

Well, had my morning cup of coffee and maybe I can fall a sleep. I've on;y slept 2 hours so far tonight. I hear the turkeys signaling each other as they wake up. Soon they will be mossying this way.

Das Bush Sides with EVIL-DOERS

Bush gets his way and helps out the corporate evil-doers. Now it's easier to harm people and get away with it, just like it was in the 1800's. Get a bad product, tough. Das Bush is getting worse then the "Bin." Why fight a war over seas when your president is working against you. Let's not forget how we got here. Bush lied to get into office. He lied about what Saddam had or didn't have or see. He's pushing the Social Security reform saying there is a big immanent problem. That's just like he did when he sold the media blitz on the war with Iraq. "We have to go to war" Bush said. Now he's saying, "we must attack Socail Security because it will kill you with a mushroom cloud." For a guy that says he has such high morels he's sure killing a lot of Iraqis. What about the babies and the unborn, I'm sure your bombs have killed a few by now. Estaments have it around 100,000 people have been killed in Iraq. For a president that says "We have to support the troop, he's cutting medical care for the wounded. He's cutting benifits to the National Gaurd. He's keeping the troops in longer then they signed up for." I know he's breaking contracts left and right on the "Bush Crusaides." It's to bad we have a former drunk in the whitehouse. It's to bad he never went to AA to get on the right track. All the people that went to churchs instead of AA are still drunk. I really believe he's in charge and he's not getting manipulated. With everyone looking under every rock to find a terrorist, it's the Joe McCarthy era all over again. To bad it's going to take years to recover from all this Bushism.

Put you marals behind you and get on the corparate band wagon. Learn how to take advantage of the system and do on to others and get rich.

The Meek Get Squat

All men are created equal? We are all Gods children? The meek shall inherit the earth? As Frank Zappa said a few years ago, "The meek shall inhered nothing." It's the rich not just the well off but the fascist right rich that are going to be on top. Looking at the days of the Ferro's, could that have been the way things played out? Did the "Ferro's" once control the world? Did we, the people of the earth all beg for work on the Ferro's projects? Why is there a desert there?

It's been shown that in mexico that that fall of the oldest group of Aztecs died out because they cut down the trees to make plaster. Was that their downfall? Just trying to look nice and stylish? With all the wood they needed to make plaster itstriped off the land which let the rain wash away the top soil which caused thecrops to fail. Did this same thing happen in Africa? Did they burn so much of the forests to make plaster for the temples and pyramids? After the trees were gone, then the desert started and kept going to what we see today?

It's a passing thought along with the ideas of what has happened in the world in the name of some bodies God or God's. Adalf mobilized the Germans which were of a Christian nature. Bush mobilized the people of the United States telling them that he had values. We found out his values, oil and money are his values. Yes his rich friends rule and the rest of us are just a burdon to him unless your putting money in his pocket. The United States mobilized it's people to fight off communism saying a free market is the way. Which means that man with the most makes the laws. The American Indian was the first group of people that opperated a communist type of government. Unfortunately it was in deep decline when the first Europeans came to the new world. Why there was this decline has most people questioning. I think it was because of the have nots wanting more and the chiefs elivating themselves to the point of Gods.

It's money that matters and not what you know. It's who you know and how much you can grease the wheels. "Bribe" is a bad word facing extinction. People don't bribe others these days we call them "contributions." Thous making might with money makes right.

Speaking of might, have you noticed that cops don't wound people anymore? Why, thay might get sued. Kill them off and silence them. It's been changing though, the new use of media is becoming like a gun. If you condem a person so much that they have to leave the world with their tail dragging. Bush's Karl Rove used thisto make Kerry look like a boob. What's the funny part of it is that the people of the United Stated believed him and re-elected "Das Bush." Most of the "Bush Sheep" believe Bin and Saddam are linked and that WMD have been found., even though the bi-partisain report said that they didn't.

How soon every one forgets these days. No one remembers the days of Nixon. The only reason the Gingrich Republicans went after Clinton was because they could. Now when Das Bush talks about the lack of judges we need to look back to the 90's when the Gingrich Republicans were in office and what they all did. This push to maake it like it was in the 1800's and to cut peoples rights is slow coming but it's coming. "Das Bush" doesn't have to get re-elected so the Religious Right don't have to get their way and can be tost a side. The Neo-Cons idea of a world controled by corperations is coming saying freedom and free trade is the way. It's a demactatic way. The Eyes have it and the the meek get it where the gay boys want it.

Looking back in time where the church used the people to go on the "Crusades" saying that these people are heithens. That they are Godless. That it was their duty to rape, pilage and plunder the middle east for fun and pleasure. It was you duty as a Christain. Now with people like Condo Rice telling the world, "Well that's old news, lets put that behind us."

We only have one world and throwing out the parts that make the world work is a wrong idea. We need to work towards a society (world population) that will work for all and not the rich. If everyone was able to do what every they wanted for the good of the people of the world and not what's good for a few then we would end starvation, poverty and war.

It must be the flu

I thought I escaped the flu but it looks like I didn't. I had my usual aches and painds today but tonight it just hit me. My head feels like it's going to explode. My body hurts all over. This would explain the skidders for the last couple days and I thought it was just the change in medications. With my luck it's going to be some sort of bird flu with all the birds I have out here. The turkeys all look well even though it's been raining. Standing up I'm so dizzy and almost fell over walking into the bedroom. Time for the electric blanket.

What will be our end times be after the 100 year war

Well, the Bushster has really got us into it. When the Iraqis ask why we are building permanent camps, no one has any answers. At first I was hooked on the dribble the administration had said. The talk that "Bin" and "Saddam" slept together didn't seem to fly when Bush kept fighting to go to war instead of inspections. Bush and the TEAM (Neo-Cons) did the best sales job on this country just like selling a car or some fancy new record player. Karl reminds me of "The Brain" from Pinky and the Brain cartoon. Every night the Brain schemes to take over the world. If we didn't find those WMD and no link to Bin then WHY should we believe any other thing he has to sell us. If you bought a used car and it was a lemon would you go back to the same sales man.

With the biggest telescope in space which can look back in time to the beginning of the universe, don't you think we could turn the scope and look down to earth and see something. Oh, That's right the military has their own telescopes that look at the earth. From a USGS report while I was in college, they had showed a date on a dime from space. That was in 1976. That was before we had good optics in space and good microprocessors. Back then a minicomputer was running at 10 megahertz and 16k of memory was a big thing. That's when I first came across Fairchild's optic chips. At that time 64 bits was a big thing in optic chips. That group was sold to the Japanese and the rest was history. The video camcorder was born.

The biggest mistake that could happen to science is the loss of the Hubble Telescope. Bush's idea of science is breading cows or making H-bombs. Those ideas that came out briefly a couple years ago while we were in Afghanistan. Bush or some one at that time was talking about "Bunker Buster A-Bombs." It didn't dawn on me then but when they started talking about Iran's enrichment program and their sites were underground then it all started to make sense. Yes George, I can add two and two and come up with oil the chief export of Iran. Lets not forget the BP pipeline running from just north of Iran to Turkey. Is it about democracy or is it about oil, since all your fathers friends are tied to oil.

The Girls are back

The hens all stopped by today. All three dozen of them. I haven't seen the girls in a couple weeks or so. The boys did the "I'm hormoning number." Flashing their feathers and standing with their heads in the air.

The deer also stopped by after dark. Last night, Big Buddy walked up on the porch and looked in the window. I startled Big Buddy as he was looking in seeing me laying down watching TV.

These new meds. really knock me out. Well you have to do what you have to do to stay alive. To bad my bones aren't doing so well. Going in for a cortisone shot in my lower back. I still don't have any answers for my shoulder pain. My knee is giving me problems again just like before my knee surgery. Maybe I'll have to get something done to make it feel like it's not a ball joint dangling in the wind. The pain in my legs is back too. Guess cooking tonight was to much for me. Terrible when you can't even cook dinner for yourself without causing yourself so much pain you can't even stand.

Have you ever notices, Doctor Condo Rice looks like an alien from the side.

Also noted that on the news they referred to Bush republicans and the "Neo-Cons" as"Fascist Right." I'd say the republicans are a bunch of Fascist making everyone do what they want by manipulating the media for their fascist views. What gets me is they call it being a "Christian."

Still later that same night

Have the feeling that I'm on a boat. The way I'm moving around it must be some sort of new problem that I need to find out what's happening. It seems like that same thing Mike Fox has. Mr. Shaky deciese. The electric shocks and migraine is still going. It felt good in the morning until I sat up then it all started coming back. I hate my back because it's so hard to sit up. Standing is really becoming a broblem. Well Charle Rose is on so I'll listen to that. I missed Frontline and I wanted to tape that one too.

Capital hill is in the dark again, here comes the sales program

Dr. Rice says lets what happened in the past four years go. Just forget what Bush said and has done. It's all good. Now we can work together for The Bush agenda, with the direction of the "Neo-Con's" and the "Vulcans"

Bush said his new budget is a good one but if your poor your out of luck since the poor don't make any contribution to the Republican party. That's right, they are poor, they don't have money. If they had money then they wouldn't be poor.

Sprinkles but rain next week

Rained today, it started this morning. Don't feel like doing much my electric head ache has combined with a migraine. Now I shake in the dark. Every little noise is so loud. I hear the battery operated clocks clunking as the arms turn. Nothing like watching TV with your eyes closed. Seems my blank times are getting longer. I'll be talking and forget where I was. Almost to the point of not knowing where I am. It will take some time but I'll remember where I am. Not sure why my ears have a ringing to them. Tonight it is screaming blocking all the other sounds out. I hear them but they are irritating. I guess I'll go back to bed. See if I can wake up and be drenched and have to change my cloths. I was asked earlier if I was dizzy or loose my balance. If sitting here and loosing my balance is anything then I'm dizzy I guess. I need to find out why my eye hurts. Well, it's more like my brain or skull above my eye. Feeling my head it feels like the skull is cracked and the part is sticking out. Like there is swelling behind my skull pushing it out. I wish I could have told my doctor how I feel in words that he would understand. I feel like I' crying with no sound, the tears are there.

Sorry no animal stories tonight.

Another Late Night

Late night again. Those two cups of espresso got me going. My eyes are burning and my bones are aching so much that I can hardly sit up. Been diddling with my web site I'm starting. I put some links in going here. Also added the "google Adsense" things so I can get advertised and they put stuff on my page. Also added a search thing from google.

To my web site
just in case you want to check it out.

This was a long day. I woke up at 4am, well, it was a couple minutes before that. Played on the net until 8am then fell a sleep waiting for a download listening to NPR. Woke back up at 9am, long sleep but I've been going since then. Yes, I'm ready to fall over really. Why I'm doing this I don't know. I have noticed that when your working with computers it's hard to un-wind. It's not like chopping trees down or running a marathon. When I get to bed my brain will still be going. 1:31am and will I wake up at sunrise?(like every other day) Some how, living in the forest it's not a chore to get up early. It's different then in the city, must be all that noise. I remember going to a house five miles from the freeway and it took a week for me to get used to hearing the noise of the freeway. Here, it's just the critters I hear. There is a deer that likes to sleep or hang out by my bed room but on the outside of the house. It's a nice wood deck with a cover. Good in the rain for him. The turkeys last year would come right up to my bed room window and gobble to get me up. I wasn't in the mood back then because of the treatment I was going through. I'm glad that's all over. Thought I was going to die. It mentally burned me out. They said many of the people going through the treatment killed themselves. I can see why too, it's real hell.

The turkeys will be here early and if I'm not out there for them they start calling me. At first it's quiet and then it keeps getting louder and louder. So cute looking out the door seeing those black necks sticking up and those beaks all looking at me. They are all the ones I watch grow up this year. Their mother would take them around to show them places to eat and get bugs. I haven't mowed the lawn in two year now since they all have been coming around.

What a day.

Turkeys came in for a landing this morning right next to the house. Thought he was going to run into a tree or the house. One of them ran into my telephone line and tumbled into the house then clipped the apple trees before landing in the yard. The phone line snapped back and landed on my TV antenna. Well they all landed safe today. I don't know where the rest of the herd is but the four boys hung out here all day. Haven't seen any of the girls in several weeks. I did see any of them mating yet this year so I don't believe they are off nesting.

Was took out to lunch at a real nice German restaurant up the hill. Snow! The American river was cooking. When I went to the same place a couple years ago in the summer the river was down to a trickle compared to today. It must have been something when we had the two week storm. The people east of here are such wimps, the storm dumped most of the water here before going east. They only got a couple feet of snow compared to the 20 plus feet here.

Had a doctors appointment today. No help. He thought I was depressed because I said I wasn't eating a whole lot lately. This doesn't explain the pain from my waste down. If I was a doctor I guess I could diagnose myself then I wouldn't have to waste my time seeing these great wonderments. If I knew what was wrong with me I think I'd fix it or see some one that could. Oh, that's right, that's why I went to a doctor.

Q. What do you call a med. student that was last in his class?
A. Doctor. (and Bush wants to cut out malpractice suits)

I guess I'll have to call the neurologist to find out what's up with the electric head aches. I hate these jolts of electricity running through my body every time I blink or hear a load noise.

Well, it's that time for the four poster. I'm dragging. Too much house work. That dusting will be getting to my nose in the middle of the night. I think I need to get rid of these nick-nacks. Get up tomorrow and do it all again. Maybe I can get some work done on my tool shed. I need to finish the shelf I was making. So far it's looking good and strong.

Haven't found the little squirrel with most of her side ripped off. I can only think the worst but hope for the best. She was moving too slow so the wound is really hurting her. I still see the pain in her little face. I don't know what attacks the squirrels. I see the squirrels chew on each other. I don't believe they can chew such a large bit out of each other. From what I've read about squirrels that most of them die in the first year. I have been seeing a hawk flying around. I've seen how the turkeys react to the shaddow flying over. It makes them freeze up in the shaddows. There all seem to make little cherps to each other. From being around them so much I could tell they weren't happy.

More Bush Lies

The Bushster is at it again with a pile of lies. Lies like flies on a pile of compost. He keeps saying he's helping but he need some one to tell him what his speech writers wrote in his speeches. Clean skies, what a joke, lets go back to the nuke water heaters to make electricity. He just said that we, the United States doesn't have the right to impose their right on other governments but what are we doing in Iraq then, imposing something over there. More empty ideas or as he says it, "Idear's."

It looks like Cheney is ready to go to bed he keeps checking his watch to see when he can leave. Notice that the democrat's do clap or stand like the Republicans do.

His idea of "fighting terrorist in Iraq so we don't have to fight them at home," is a fantasy. Is he ever going to "Get Real" and tell the people that his pursuit of the middle east is for oil. Sure a stable middle east is great for getting oil out with out having to fight off the locals. So far the "Body Count" is climbing over 100,000 people and he's talking about cherishing life. Saddam didn't kill as many people in two year as Bush did. It would have taken at least 20 years to do what Bush did in the past two years.

Private account in social Security? When Bush took office the Stock Market ripped off the American people to the sum of $7,000,000,000,000.00 dollars and he want us to trust him. All the "Brokers" back the republicans.

Bush keeps talking about all the stuff the he's doing to create safety in the US but the people in the trenches say that they are not being funded. If we can't even protect the country agenst the flu how is he going to protect us against a biological attack?

The man was a drunk for to many years and has brain damage. His father has to be running the show or at least all the friends of his father are doing it.

Yes it looks like American Imperialism is on the rise. I can't say, American because that is a big group of countries which most people don't count. What about Canada, Mexico, Brazil don't they count?

Laura is sitting there looking like Homer Simpson with flies going through her head.

These past 4 years have been the best con job on the United States people. The Republicans are for big business not the little guy. They could care less about the little guy. He could die in his car where he's living.

He said he's going to raise the PEL Grant which turns out to be $100 dollars per year. Wow, I can buy a book.

In the 60's we had a war on crime and poverty but now the criminals are making the laws. The only thing I didn't hear is insurance reform to cut medical costs. For a President that wants a smaller government he sure spends a lot of money.

Electricity doing the thing through my brain, again.

It's back, the electricity jolting through my brain and body. I complained to my doctors before and they kept saying "Migraine." What ever I said it always came out migraine. I guess it's easier to say "migraine" then "seizure." It's not flop on the ground type but it is annoying. Trying to stop smoking may ad to this and isn't the most fun but it's about time I did this.
Had a great day here, sunny, fresh air and turkeys. Took a few pictures. Hanging out watching them do their day to day turkey things is so interesting. I don't know what excites me so much. Is it the size of the birds working around me. I find the little birds just as interesting. The squirrels are the most interesting and the best characters.
Beside the brain sparks, my back has been killing me. It almost feels like I have a hernia again. The symptoms are all the same as far as I see. The "Back" is really bad. Did you ever feel so bad you wanted to cry because of the pain but crying won't impress any one here because your all a lone. Is that the best way to say it? Lately, my spine is poking out my back. It's spreading my tendands and I can feel the bone under the skin. I don't want to have surgery unless I can get replacement disks. Fusion is no good because you can't bend after that. It might solve the pain problem or at least some of the pain problem.
"Nightlines" discussion tonight was about "Social Security." From one report I watched on TV where a reporter went to the Social Security office to the great lock box. In there, is $74 trillion dollars worth of IOU's. The Bushster want to sell something like Weapons of mass displacement. The only people that will make out is wall street. Just like they did when Bush took office the first time and they walked off with $7 trillion. That's not including the companies that went under. Why would anyone believe anything Bush has to say now after what he had to say about Iraq. No one remembers when he said that they need to privatized the nation starting with the oil fields. Like in VP's big plan, the big energy bill. How can those flat landers vote for Bush. I've heard a person try to support Bush but it wasn't in his words it was in the words of the radio and TV. No original thought just the one planted in his head.
What about those base camps for our boys in Iraq? From one report they had said, The camps are being made because they plan to be there for 5 years. When you here the troops these days, they have "cue cards" to tell the truth of the mission. Nothing like a good propaganda program. I don't even listen to what the troops have to say these days because it's so scripted. You know it is because the guy is using words he's never used before in his life. Nothing like using a word with the wrong context.
Bush is suppose to be a leader but how can you be a leader if people are telling you what to do and what to say. Since "The Bushster" is reporting to the corporations and the corporation are not bound to any country then Bush isn't bound to any country. It's all about the bottom line and not about people.
Besides all that, watch Frontline tonight. I had seen it before about credit cards and the companies policies of lending. What a bunch of cheesy people. The one guy that they were interviewing about changing you pay ever month or the minimum payment and this guy came up with this idea. He's like a clone of Mike Powell, no emotions at all. When he was taking about making money you could see him getting excited. Not much but he heard profit and it was like an orgasm for him. The credit card companies are giving out cards left and right. It doesn't matter if they can pay, they are going to look for every reason to jack up you interest rates. The way they are going is going to cause the end of them. Lend out all your money and when you all want it back and the people say, o'well. That's really going to fix them right up. It's just like some of the different countries that money has been loaned. They can't even pay their interest and what are you going to do, for close on a country? Well they all can eat crow as far as I'm concern. They go out of their way to make people poor. What a service! No good people there and the worst part of it all is that it rubs off on the employees. Then those people go out in the world with this twisted version of life that is perfectly all right to ripe off people that aren't paying attention. What gets me about these same people will go to church and think they are the most perfect person.

Testing how to paste a picture here.

A little fellow from two years ago.

Elections or Erections that is the question

Whether it's better to let a country be free or whether to take over a country with a media campain. Blind the viewers with a spectacular events and daze them with confusion. Double talk and the use of peoples personal fears. What a country! Today, Iraq votes. "Texas oil" goes into action. Remember, that's where "Kennedy" was shot.

Found a little finch dead in the rock garden. Sad, You never usually see any dead birds. I've found two since I moved here. The first one was a flicker after a freezing cold night. It was on the ground sort of folded up like it was packaged for sale. This Finch was large as far as Finch's go. Still I feel a lose. I guess you could measure the amount of grief on a scale. Been thinking about protractor's lately, that and spheres. Well, I guess once you work as a meteorological it's all about measuring things. Anyway, put this bird to rest in vegetable garden by the rose bush.

It felt like spring today. Fresh air and the other smells of life, the mushrooms growing. The fallen tree, the smells of the different plants. After a storm as soon as the sun starts falling on it , life goes into action. Back to more measurements, what time will they bloom in relation to all the other plants. How does that fit into the cycle of the years. Just like history repeats it self.

Well bed time, my life is repeating, cycling over and over. Tomorrow should be a good day, in the 50's.

Cool day and the air smells like life

Good sighting, two flickers. I haven’t seen many of them since I’ve moved here. Now, they’re sitting in the old pair tree, eating nut like pairs. One of my little buddies, a squirrel has been chewed up. She’s running on three legs. The side of her has been ripped off. I tried opening the sliding glass door but she ran off. After doing some cleaning inside, I started walking down the steps from the back door. The little girl was hiding in the corner. It looked like she was more interested in getting out of the weather then just food. I could see the distress the little thing was going through. A little food and shelter would make her recover. Seeing others with this much damage it doesn’t look too good for her. I put out a squirrel house I haven’t hung up yet. Maybe she will hide out inside the little house and recover.

Two turkeys are chasing the birds that they see in the reflection of my car. They are apart of the Tom and Jerry gang. It’s funny; I can still tell them from all the other birds after seeing them for the past 3 years.

Rains coming, Sounds like it’s going to rain through the weekend. It’s 5 PM and the suns still out behind the clouds. It must because of the sun that I’m feeling like my brain reset the other day. It was like on minute you’re on then the computer resets. A whole new view on the world and how you fit in to it immerges.

How would have quest that Bush and the republicans would use juornalist, reporters and colomnist to promote his agenda. Were we sold a war by mass media?

Was like a spring day, was like a summer shower.

Yesterday was great outdoors. You could just smell life growing. The rain isn't bad I can still see the sun, sort of. I though if there was no more rain there would be a early summer. Lots of grass to burn or weeds to burn. Things would be dry, even the trees. Well, all dressed up and place to go, it's raining.

Having some ideas on how language developed and what an autistic people are going though. How they think and hold images. A type of comparing of a sound or image to a happening. In a way I can understand what a lot of what others could do in the time line of are world culture. Seeing a lot of detail to little of frames. While others see lots of frames and little detail. The hunter, some one to see something and look for signs, symbols or icons. No detail just clues. Then there's the ones in the middle. Ones that can see the picture in their heads and make it. See the measuments and put them on paper. Then be able to construct what was on the paper.

To much computer.

My eyes are feeling like sand in them. To much, "blinded by the light." as they used to say.

It's amazing going through the birth of the semiconductor. Growing up first tube sets and a few pokes by the high voltage. Gauging how good you were and not get zipped. The transistor radio pushed the "get the bugs out." Now the speeds that digatal product have are over a billions times faster then the first 8-bit 1-mHz and now more then a billiion time faster. that in only thirty years.

Sunny day until I got down the hill, fog, chunks of fog. Getting under them just made the day short and winter like a storm coming. The weather hasn't said anything about rain. Maybe in the valley.

Hanging with the big birds

I got to gang out with the turkeys today. Did some yard work but the best part of the day was sitting under the pine trees with the turkeys. The older bird tended to keep there distance. Tom and Jerry just did what they wanted. Everything was going good until Manny, Moe and Jack showed up. They came in pushing all the birds away. I got between the two groups and that seem to help out. The birds didn't want to come down off the side of the hill until the Manny, Moe and Jack walk down towards the road. Mean while my young birds sort of huddled around me. I think they think I'm just and ugly bird. Not bad, laying back in the pine needle with my big birds.

The Big Boys are here now, my deer. I'll go outside and sit with them too. They don't seem to mind my presents unless Big Buddy isn't there.

How about that Cheney on Imus saying he didn't want to start a war in the middle east. To late Cheney you made a mess there and it's going to take years to fix it. I guess that's why the military is building permanent site in Iraq.

Now that Colen Power is going so is his son. Nothing like getting your son a job and working on making monopolies of the communications industries.

Think Laura gave it up last night? Is that why George left the parties early. I guess Dr. Rice had to use the Blacken Decker. Maybe was a three way???? It could happen!

I heard yesterday on the radio that Bush may have a learning disability and the woman was praising him for over coming it. She forgets he was a drunk where you can get brain damage too. The only reason he's in office is because of Daddy's friends.

Today on the radio was a disgusting about Science verses Religion, can they co-exist. When a woman talking about how she believed in the Bible and the littoral interpolation, a confirmed fundamentalist. Telling the guess on the show that they were all wrong. Nothing like a high school graduate telling a PHD that he's wrong. One of the guests was a former minister that went into science and got a PHD in physics. Another of the guests was a PHD in physics also but without any religious back ground. What gets me is this Wizard like deity that makes and controls everything even the way you need o think. I just can't believe that some one that could believe that the earth was only 6000 years old. My cousin was telling me about his religion since he converted to another one that he was brought up on, saying that God hid the dinosaur bones in the dirt to confuse us. Now that has a lot of logic to it. I don't mind if some one wants to use their love for one an other to help people but don't make us go back to the middle ages. One day we will get rid of all these bigotry’s and work to making the world a good place to live. One thing I see that everyone needs to over come is greed then we could over come poverty. Maybe have a culture where you could become all that you can be in learning not in how much money you have to get. As the group the Tubes once said, "does your bank account swell while you sleep at night."

Turkeys hung out all day

The turkeys arrived at day break. First it was Tom & Jerry the oldest birds. Then it was the rest of the crew. Some of the young males that came around while growing up all were waiting for me to come out and throw them sunflower seeds. Their so cute, they stand out there just letting out little peeps calling me to come out. It's like this one mother came around with her two kids and wanted to show them off to me. I was sitting on the retaining wall and she herded her to kids over to me. She remembered me from last winter when I was feeding her almost by hand. All the other birds seem to push the little hen out of the way. She was a real trooper and knew if she came close to me there was food there. I don't mind feeding the big birds but I like taking care of the runts. It seems that they are more able to adapt. The bigger birds seem to be the bull dosers. My young males since I feed them extra well this year are as big as the older bird. Nothing like a little "Evalution" right in front of me.

Big day for Bush. He looked like a little kid at Christmas waiting to open presents. When he was taking the oath of office he was rushing it with that smirk of his. His gestures gave me the impression, "I pulled it off again."

Watching Charley Rose the other night, they were talking about US Army spies in Iran. Now I know what those new bunker buster a-bombs Bush wants. From what I hear about the Neo-Cons, they want to take over Iran and Syria too. They are the same ones that brought you "Iraq the Endless War." "Every things just fine" as the Bush crew repeats like parrots. For that matter, all the republican are reading the same cue-cards. Don't you just like that, people that have to be told what to think. I thought that all went away with the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The administration is telling Iraq that they can't have a extreme Muslim government but here the people that are coming out of the wood work telling them that their God told them that you all need to live like I want you to.

Sitting back just taking in all this great stuff, I'm wonder when Bush will get us into another war or wars.

Dave's on after that it's Charley. If it's about this crap in Washington with Bush I'll barf

Bright, Sun shiny Day

What a day, temp. almost reached 70 degrees. In the house it reached 71 degree when I closed the doors. Manny, Moe and Jack were the only turkeys that showed up. They hung out under the ponderosa pine trees digging into the needle to lay in. The boys are here now. Big Buddy and two of his sons also stumpy Fella's son who's kind a butt head. He wants to bully all the other deer just because he's got a good rack. Most of the time the deer just pock their nose into the others to get them to move but not the grump fella. I had to go outside to keep them from fighting so the youngsters could get in. Last summer, I yelled out, "No food for you guys until the girls eat." They all stepped back and pushed the girl in and stayed in the field until the girls were done.

It's only 46 degrees out side right now. The moon is half up. Well, not half up the whole this is there but only half the sun light is on it. Think I'll that out the old Canon Camera with the 500mm lens. Maybe even get motivated to uncover the telescope and do a little deep space looken'. Since it's so nice out, I think I'm going to burn all those branches and leave I piled up. Real full after dinner didn't eat it all. The left over turkey parts I put out for Mrs. Stinker. Guess I'll roll me a smoke and make a cup of coffee.

More of the scrutinizer comments about the Rice ball and what is going on with "the Bush."

Rice on Balls

Did you hear the lies that came out of Dr. Rice's mouth. I can see why George has a personal relationship with her. I wonder if Laura minds Rice getting in on her action. I've never heard anyone that can lie as much as Dr. Rice. Even when confronted with video clips of what she said she will say I didn't say that. To bad she didn't advise Bush with that most important PDB. Unless they saw that as a way of getting into Iraq.

Bush is going to cut the HUD program. It only show me he doesn't care about poor people but just the rich people. He promised 15 billion to Africa but that hasn't happened.

If we took the worlds economy and paid it into the Social Security program, it would take two and one half years to repay the I.O.U.'s in the trust fund. And we complained at Arthur Andersen's accounting. It's funny how all the business that went under are all friends with the republican party and Bush. When the stock market sucked off 7 trillion dollars from the middle class by taking bad advice from supposedly reputable stock brokers, the people had to eat it and the brokers only paid a 1.2 billion dollar fine. Yah, it was just fine. If you or I did this we would go to jail for at least 15 years. The brokers were just told "Don't do that again." I think that's a sign of a true criminal, "Never admit nothing."

Mean while back at the forest. Nice warm day as it goes for the middle of winter in the mountains. All the birds and mammals are here having a good day. I need more sunflower seeds. One more cup of coffee and it's off to town.

King Abdullah II

King Abdullah is on Charley Rose tonight. (you know he rides a Harley) I was going to bed with a splitting headache but I'll stay up for this one. Talk about a common sense man wish Bush would take some lessons. You know what Bush would say, "He's one of those book smart elitist." I noticed he speaks better English the George Bush and Charley Rose. Charley, there is no "R" in idea.

I'm in the Scrutinizer mode tonight with this headache. Watched the TV show 24 earlier. If anyone didn't catch the errors in the program I'll tell you. The secret hide-out is in San Pedro if you didn't catch the bay in the back ground. It's an old Nikkei missile base from the early part of the cold war. The other thing was the car chase was on highway 14 going to Palmdale. They said they were going to another place in Ventura County.

What about those commercial with the little type. Do you think they have something to hide. It's so small that you couldn't read it even if it was on a high definition TV.

There was more but I'm going to lay down and hope that another storm isn't coming in because my body is tell me that there is one coming or at least bad weather.

I'm beat- to long a day

What a day, the sun and air was nice and so was my critters. All the guys stopped by. To much moving leaves and pine needle. They smelled good as I was burning them not like a camp fire of campers in a camp ground. Those nasty trash fires.

Came it to watch Tim and fell a sleep towards the end of the show. Didn't wake up until around 8 PM. Been moving ever since them but the energy is running out. The X-Files are on now and my computers are working right again. My monitor was weirding out jumping to different screen sizes. Using the computer to play DVD's on my TV was okay but when I went to change back the settings things went wild. Blank screen then a no signal display. I had planned to clean the dirt out of the monitor for a while and today was that day. When I took off the cover I noticed that there was metal flake in the circuit boards. There was a bunch of lint and dust too. How the metal flake got in there is beyond me. I thought the metal flake day were over in college. I leaned my lesson with that stuff. After one party it remained in the house for years. I didn't have a computer back them and I'm puzzled how it got in there. It's the curse of the metal flake. Well, the monitor is working great now. Color and brightness is all working fine. The position and shape is just like when I bought the monitor.

It's bed time after I shut down everything. I'll finish the X-file in the bed room. Hope I don't wake up with the ants on the screen because I fell a sleep.

More better and then great yesterday

Suns out, the squirrels are out and so are the little birds. Herds of turkeys showed up too but in different times. This was good since some of the groups tend to play big bird on campus. The hens are on the side of the hill where is deep forest going bugging. Sounds like a old fisherman but, "Gone Bugging" as the turkeys might say. There's a acorn woodpecker on the railing of the side porch, what a great looking bird. He got a mouth full of sunflower seeds and off to the comfort of a favorite tree.

Took a small walk to check out the place. Oh boy a nuthatch is sneaking up. The rain sure did a job on this place but it's making it green. I hope the creek runs all year like it should. I checks the squirrel houses. One guy ate the opening and doubled it size. It's tee shirt weather today and I'm going to take advantage of that to rake the leaves. The doors are open to let the mountain fresh air come through the house. Fresh air and nature is why I moved here.

I think picture taking is going to be a good idea, one of the few I come up with.(
Ha-Ha-Ha) I did turn this place into a living forest which was getting the effect of the sprawl of the humans. Noting like crapping in the back yard you live in when there's no where else to go.

How about that Bush!
He's going to raise the PEL grants up by a hundred dollars. Gee, I can by a new text book. What a guy, as republicans go. Nothing like the Bushalini style of government. You must do it my way because I failed in business before so I know how to do it.

Another Great Day

So far it's been a great day. Warm, was sunny but drying out. The critters are all here. The male group with nine turkeys is here. They are a feisty group.

Printed up some cards that I can give out. Took a while to clean the head. I hate that, it uses so much ink. One time I put in a new cartridge and it wore down the others cleaning it. I had to replace that cartridge. After that then I needed to clean it again. By this time I use half of the new black cartridge. Why can't they make software that cleans just one head at a time.

On my third cup of coffee and I'm going good. Have to make a run to town but that will be later. For now it's washing and fix a post that was loosened up because of the rain. The post is where I feed the little birds and squirrels. It has a good lean to it right now. Darn those moles for undermining it.

What a great day

Suns out, it's warm, well as warm as it could be as it could be for the middle of winter right after a major storm. The critters are out and having a great time. It's so interesting watching the young squirrels running around. Exploring everything they can find. The male turkeys came by, this is the dominate group because there's Tom & Jerry's group too. Tom and Jerry have nine males which they are training to be the next dominate group. Not this year and maybe not next year but soon they get all the hens. I think the rotation of who's the boss is something to do with inbreeding. If one group is always in charge then the gene pool will become stagnant and have mutant birds. When I moved here Tom and Jerry were the top birds. Then Manny, Moe and Jack took over. There group has twelve birds and are at least three years old. Tom and Jerry are the old birds and best I can guess they are around five or six years old.

I'm dusted and need a nap. The coffee has done it's job and is fading. Digging the trench along the road for water drainage just done me in. The dirt was was full of gravel. It's so hard to dig through this stuff. It's mostly pick and rake work. The shovel is only good to put gobs of mud and rock on the road. I'll string a line and get a slop tomorrow. For now it's nap time and watch the critters get there dinner. Another cup of coffee and maybe I'll work on the web site. Na, nap time.

29 degrees

7:30 AM and 29 degrees only the little birds out. I hear the turkeys up the hill waking up and calling out their landing instructions. The ground is frozen stiff. This means that my slippers won't get muddy until the sun hits the ground. While walking to the kitchen I saw a acorn woodpecker, I had to stop aand watch him. What vivid colors! The little squirrel didn't seem to like sharing his nuts. The male turkeys should be down here soon, maybe after another cup of coffee. When it's cold like this they come running. When the hens come running down it's like a turkey stampead. Looks like it's going to be a nice day, blue sky and maybe up to 50 degrees. Coming from Los Angeles, this is quiet the change but I'm getting used to the cooler temperatures. I find the little Oregon Junco's very amazing coming down here to winter over. They remind me of telegraphs going off. Looking out the double pane sliding glass door, I see my car, it's white and sparkly. Soon it will be back to the maroon color when the sun hits it. There's a squirrel on the railing eating sunflower seeds. If I look out the front door window, there should be more of them. Soon there will be around 10 or 12 little guys. I see one coming down the ponderosa pine from his nest. Stopping in the sun to warm up. Watching them for the last three years I'm seeing them more as families and not just one veriety of life. There's one of the youngsters running down the hill. He bounces of the trees as he runs down.

In the News;
Listening to the news, they have a story about a religios group. Hearing some of their interpatations of the Puritan Bible just gets me. Believing that what they think is Gods word to them. It's funny looking back in how many time the Christians had a beef with each other then going off and starting their own brand of church.

Another frozen morning

OMG my feet are frozen. The things I do for my forest friends. After putting out feed for the birds and squirrels. I notice my feet are real cold. The ground is frozen. It's got sparkles on everything. I should have had my shoes or slippers on. The squirrels are here early, it must be because it's so cold. A normal morning there would be only two little guys out there until around 10 AM. That's when all the squirrels are here.

I was doing some raking yesterday and feel it today. It was more then that, the use of the pick to move some dirt. The top soil has washed off. Not all of it but the loose stuff that is all over this place. The water has mostly drained from most of the property. The creek is still flowing. I pulled the piles of leaves out of the creek so the water could flow. Then went on a planting spree, scattering alfalfa seeds everywhere. Hope it will all grow so the deer and turkeys will have a little more to eat.

The male turkeys were here this morning. One of the males was being the bully. One of the young males was calling for the hens so the big bird was looking like a mating male pushing the other males away from the seeds. Since he knew that the hens would come to that spot.

Some of the squirrels get rather chewed up. Not sure is it's each other doing that or some sort of predator. There's a young squirrel on the porch with his side ripped off and exposed. When they get this way they tend to die off. Some of them can heal but the weather and infection takes it's toll.

Haven't seen any deer here, just a couple young ones came by last night at sunset. They do tend to sneak in when no ones looking. I've changed my views on all the wild life. The deer are so gentle. I do see them expressing emotions and they are just like humans.

BUSH: More lies from Bush and the same way he went to war he's trying to tell the people of the United States the Social Security to privatized the accounts. What happened to the 74 trillion in the trust fund? Oh, I get it, he would have to raise taxes to pay the money back to social security that they borrowed to do all these special projects like going to the moon, Vietnam, and the cold war. Nothing like defaulting on a dept. It's always been that way here and around the world. Look at all the treaties that were made with the native Americans. Bush promised Africa 15 billion for help with AIDS but only a couple million has been spent. Same thing with his no child left behind which was under funded.

Bush has gotten a big head and he thinks people like him. Lets go to the moon and while were at it lets go to mars too. How are you going to pay for it George? Let your buddies ruin the earth by polluting everything and make the air as thick as my coffee. The insurance companies, energy companies and stock market are the people that are going to make out. If you want to make some fast bucks, invest in war products because we are going to be in Iraq for a long time.

The Bush administration has used the media like no other president. The media have been played like a old deck of cards. What got me was the repeating of the sound bites. They didn't mean anything but it was on all the media being played over and over.

Well, it looks like I need to run to town and get another 100 pounds of grain for the birds. It seems I spend more on grain then I do on food.

The Stinker is here

Mrs. Stinker my favorite skunk is here. Haven't seen here in months. I guess the rain and cold made her hungry. During the summer I came face to face with her. She was walking around the porch and I was laying in the doorway. She came right up to my face and went on looking for sunflower seeds. People are scared of skunks but they are just trying to survive. If they see you they will run off. I saw a young deer wanting to find out what that little ball of fur was. The deer tried to sniff her but the skunk saw it as an attach. She jumped as to put on a show of force. She didn't do anything more. You have to do something really harmful to the skunk before they will spray you. Something like trying to eat her or like the cats that wonder down here, mate with them. They get rather indignant about that. The skunk reminds me of a miniature bear. A real good digger, a great nose for food and a real nice fur coat.

The Boy's came by plus a bunch more

The rain finally came to a slow stop this morning. I feed the squirrels and turkeys. The male birds didn't stop by but the hens did. Nothing like 40 or so birds wanting to eat just waiting for me to come out. Their little cry let me know they were here. Well the bird flying onto the railing really gave it away. She kept looking at me until I got off the computer and walked towards the door. She knew it was "SEED TIME."

About 1PM "The Boy's" stopped by my big four footed buddies. Buddy's oldest son was looking rather beat-up. He's not limping as bad as when I saw him last. His eyes and face looked swollen. He's been doing the hormone cha-cha with the girls. It really drives them insane. One of "Fella's" older boys and the next oldest were here too. Fella is feeling rather down since some deer or deers beat him up real good. I think he's feeling like an out cast. The rest of the kids are doing so well and seemed happy to see me today. Big Buddy had a big smile as I walked out the door. Little Buddy the baby of the bunch ducted behind a bush with no leaves on it, like I couldn't see him. He's always been that way and never comes out unless dads around.

The turkey had a good nap today. I don't think they were getting any good sleep with all this rain and wind. Not sure where they have been going to sleep but it's about two hours from here. If they were sleeping here they would have been here at sunrise. One day before the rain they were in the trees behind the house. When they flew down in the low light of the morning one bird hit my telephone wire. Then smacked into the roof. She recovered but ran into the tops of the peach trees.

To night Momma deer and her two girls stopped by. I went out and sat with them until I became to cold. Why a great day of critters. I forgot to say to much about the squirrels but there's always tomorrow.

Back from town

Got the seeds. The sun came out while in town but the say a big storm is coming in. Missed the BBC World News but I did caught a few minutes of it. When I turned on the TV it was on the local news with the weather report. Lots of green on the map coming this way.

When I returned home there was two of Big Buddy's sons here. They only saw what the turkeys were eating and walk to the old road. It was put in some 100 plus years ago. It's not very wide because it was made for horses. It's more like a path now and the critters use it all the time. Little Buddy showed up as I got out of the rain gear, shoes and pants off. Nothing like having to where two of everything type of weather. Little Buddy is one of Big Buddy's youngest sons. He only has one and one half antlers. He will be better next year with strong antlers like his father. I can't walk outside with them unless Big Buddy is them.

http://www26.brinkster.com/bsakall/page%204.htm

Picture of my deer friends.(not sure if this will work since it's a link to flash file)

To late to feed the squirrels. I can see by the mess that they had their fill. Those little guys will eat everything you give them. I guess that's part of the way they evolved to store food for the lean times. It's so interesting to see them with their little muscles moving. I can see how they have a common ancestors to humans. After being nice to the squirrels for three years they are finally beginning to trust me. If any one else is here they run off.

"ARNOWLD" released his state budged. Last week he said that education was important. This week he cut the funding to the schools. Maybe he wants us all to talk like him. I can't believe the way Republicans think. After a 100 plus year of being a state, he wants to change everything that we all worked years for.

Rain, Rain go away. Come back some other day.

Another very wet day. Poor turkeys are all wet. They still are here getting a bite to eat. Going to town to get some more sunflower seeds. The squirrels eat way to much but it's nice to see them. They have eaten 40 pounds in the last two weeks. Well the turkeys did help.

My dry creek isn't. There is a creek started right through the center of the yard. I had to move piles of leave that washed down the creek that was clogging up the water flow.

The weather people said, "it's going to snow down to 500 feet." Then it was updated to 2500 feet. Looks like it's some where in the 4000 to 5000 foot range.

The hail yesterday covered the place. Every where was white. The poor turkeys just stood there and took it. The squirrels hung out on the front porch and just watched the hail come down. They even stopped eating sunflower seeds to watch. This was rather amasing for for the squirrels because they never put down a seed.

My road is still flooded. The water is creating a water fall as it goes into the creek. I dug a trench to devert the water but it filled in with the dirt in the water flow.

Well, it stopped raining so it's time to go to town and get another 40 pound of sunflower seeds.
