The dying computer
I can start it in the safe mode with the network so I can get online but other then that I can’t remove many programs because I’m in the safe mode. At least the blue screen of death isn’t happening in the safe mode yet. It has if I start some test programs of Microsoft tied to the MCC. I hate the blue screen when trying to start in the normal mode. All it says it start taking out new hardware which I haven’t put any in. Can’t do a system restore because it doesn’t start in the normal mode. Taken out the server with the Java programming package. I hate this because I’ve just got the computer put together after the drive crash in December. Have all the software I use installed and now it’s crapping out. It’s good I’m taking antidepressants and tranquilizers to I wouldn’t attack the computer. Guess I’ll go play with the skunks. At least they are always the same.

Time to start a criminal investigation on the lies going to war.
Bush and Chaney have been lucky so far and people have forgotten what they did. Republicans like Senator Boehner and that other drunk in the house need to be reminded what happened for eight years while Bush was in office. How he changed the constitution and the Geneva convention to make torture sound legal. Then there’s the lies they told the American people to make the case for war. Well i was more then the American people, they were at the UN telling lies. Then there’s the guy which I’d call treasonous when he blabbed the name of the CIA agent and lied about it. Bush said he was going to prosecute how ever it was but nothing happened. Rumsfeld need to be in this mix of people since he was the one pushing water boarding and the stress positions. Remember Rumsfeld saying, “I stand all day, it’s no big deal.” He didn’t say he was chained to the wall naked. Boy! those were the days. Then there’s the master mind who put the briefs together like he was at a normal court case. He’s up teaching now at Berkley. I heard him on a couple talk shows, boy he can dance around a question. Someone will ask him if he deserves to go to the Haag for crimes against humanity. By the time he’s done replying to the question your feeling like you did something wrong. He gives you a history lesson on presidential power and which president was better under stress or so called stress because we don’t know. If you type Torture Memo into Google there will be a whole list of sub-subjects all on the torture memo and John Yoo. There’s page after page of John Yoo and the torture memo and here I thought people were forgetting. Too bad the wrong people don’t remember, Mister and Misses America needs to be remembering all this and what the republicans did the first four years went they had a majority. Bush came into office with a $500 billion dollar surplus. The republicans used the nuclear action where they only needed 51 votes to pass the tax cuts. We went from plus $500 billion dollars to negative $500 billion dollars and Bush was going to have another tax cut and start two wars that he wasn’t going to pay for. Now Boehner says worry about the children and there future. How quick the republicans forget and they are the first one to start calling people names. All that money returned to people went to the top 1% and the 99% got a minor check of a couple hundred dollars. Then when it came to paying for the war, it was never in the budget, it was in a supplement so it wasn’t counted until now with the new administration and guess who is blaming the democrats for the deficit? Boehner and his republicans and those weak minded Tea Baggers. Now that’s a group of confused people. There’s a republican leader herding them around telling them what to think. It’s funny watching them make a statement because it will be totally wrong but no one will correct them. Bush was lead around the first four years then he took a look at the mess that everyone told him to do and he just said yes, after all they were daddy’s friends and have to be smarter them him.
The press was afraid of the administration, partly because of 9/11 and partly because they didn’t want to be called unpatriotic. Bush would have been a one term president if not for 9/11. Everyone was running around in fear and the republican used that to the max. They were happy to call someone unpatriotic, in fact they want out attacking people for the most minor thing. For instance, the warrantless wire taps. Anyone spoke out about that and you were called a terrorist.
Do you remember Regan the hero to the republicans. All the republicans try to out conservative each other wanting to be like Regan. Every one says cut taxes Regan did it. They don’t tell you he had to raise taxes because he cut too much and the country was going to run out of money. That whole conservative thing is just a ploy in that they say it but like everything out of a republicans mouth it’s lies. To think the middle class and below want to be just like them they are hurting themselves voting republican because everything the republicans do favors the rich. They’re for big business and that always say, I know what Americans want. How could that, they don’t hang around anyone that could write a check for a million dollars for the reelection fund. The one I like is the old guys saying he doesn’t want government running his social security and Medicare. Like the programs are run by some mystical entity. So I wonder how much people remember of the Bush years and if they would like to see them brought in front of the world court. I know I’d like to see John Yoo in front of the court. I wonder how big my files if from the phone taps. How much mail was opened and looked at. And here we are today republicans calling the democrats every name in the book. They are defending the insurance companies from and changes, same with banking and securities. I’d like to see all the administration test out water boarding and have it on TV, Americas Funniest Videos, that should be real entertaining to watch. See if Chaney would need a jumpstart.

Poizner wants to cut taxes 10%
Another republican ploy to get votes. He says he’s going to cut taxes which will really help out the budget. He being a republican doesn’t care about public schools since he’s sending his children to private school. It’s the same with health care, the states is buying him insurance no matter what it costs. It doesn’t matter even if there are preexisting problems he still gets insurance paid for it by the state. People might get a fe dollars for the tax cut but the rich will end up getting the most money. The poor and middle class people will get there token checks. Those people will be happy unless they find out what the people on the high end of the scale get. Still people forget the services that will be cut but see the dollars lighting up in there eyes blinding them to anything else like logic.
It would be good for elected official making so much money have a cut to their wages to help balance the budget. They also should have to get their own health care and pay for their own car too. As it is elected officials get to many fee bees at the expense of the tax payer.
To balance the budget we need to stop building roads rather then make cuts to health care for the real poor. Besides they won’t be taking advantage of the great roads. What about the police and fire, everyone wants then around unless your so rich you have your own security and fire department on your private compound. That’s where you park your helicopter. Remember these so call common folks aren’t they are filthy rich, getting paid doesn’t even cover what they make on all the business deals they have going. The only reason they run for office is to get laws past that will help them and there friends doing what ever they are doing. Whether it’s selling arms, missiles, tanks, hummers to the government there’s always the inside man or woman. Get laws changed in the money market so your wife could be making money out there do to the changes. Have someone as the president and all his fathers buddies all sell to the military or get no bid contracts for a war because you were the CEO before becoming vice-president. Some people are more honest then others but you have to ask what is it going to do for the good of the country and the people or what people will it benefit. Some people don’t want any change to help the people with medical while others do, ask yourself what don’t they want change?
204 after quakes
After the 8.8 earthquake there has been 204 after quakes. They are having after shocks but the USGS doesn’t show the small ones below 4.0 mag. I think it would clutter the maps up and I can’t zoom in any closer to see the small quakes between the larger quakes. Most of what’s going on is is 5.0 and above on the map. I heard a report that said the ground was constantly moving for a minute to ninety seconds every few minutes. I’ve noticed that the so called what would be after shocks are very spread out over 300 plus miles so I don’t know if you would call them separate quakes or after shocks and settling. If we had a quake here that was large like the 8.8 quake and had quakes in Los Angeles I think the USGS would call them separate quakes. So I don’t know how they are classifying these. No one has said anything on the news about this. Maybe I’ll have to send a note asking this question.

Lies, Lies, Lies,
And so it starts. More slander all the time. The mean spirit of politics and false advertising. There is no truth in advertising in the political messages. “You did this.” “I swear he did it wrong and not my way.” Yes the egos are out telling everyone how great they are or just telling how bad the other person it. “Your not right enough.” “Your not a conservative right wing religious radical enough.” “You don’t say how your religious myths have influenced your life.” Did you ever notice that republicans can’t tell you what they had did but what the other person did only. Seems one party has dignity not to be slandering the other person in their race. Some people are educated and are good humans while others tell you how it should be and don’t practice what they preach. You know anyone running for one office is only a cog in the works and they can’t do to much, not as much as they claim they will do when they are elected. This “I’m going to cut taxes” chant is getting old, who is going to pay for the roads, the schools, the military? If this person is getting elected to a post that is part of a group how are they going to make everyone else see it your way. I have to say the republicans sure ran out of things to say. They will cut down who every they are running against even if it’s in there own party. For being the theocracy party they sure don’t practice anything from there myths that they go to there churches for. What, Love Everyone? No, your the party of hate and block change because that’s what a conservative is, some old coot stuck in his ways. I know why they are afraid of change, they want to stay rich and keep the poor people poor because they pay all the taxes for the rich. They aren’t excepting of other people, that is other races. I’d like to see truth in everything on TV and radio ads so that people can’t make up crap so the stupid people will believe it all. One party is out right mean in there ads and don’t care who they hurt. You have to look at it the people with the most negative ads isn’t the one to vote for.

The Creek is Flowing!
For several years my creek has been dry in winter. We have had more rain this year a lot of snow in December and this weekend a hard rain. Last weekends rain pounded the roof and kept me up along with the wind whistling around bending to to what looked was the breaking point. Saturday it was a more mild rain fall. Sunday was sunny and the creek had some water but it wasn’t flowing a that time.
Friday and at night was a intense rain. The wind started at fist on Friday about noon with real high gusts. The pines were swaying and looked like they were going to snap off. It went like that all day then the rain started. TV reception was real bad especially with the new digital signal. I went to bed early since there wasn’t anything on to watch. I was expecting the power to go out but was lucky this storm. With the intense rain it was enough runoff to cause the creek to run for a while. By late Saturday it slowed to where it was standing water. Sunday there was some spots with water but not running. There’s a couple areas if there’s water there it will be moving water and that was gone. Was nice to se in such a long time. The snow on top of the mountains has a good snow pack so there’s going to be a lot of runoff through the year for drinking water.
It’s been nice on the sunny days to get outside and walk around and getting to check the damage from the past storm. There’s so many fallen trees from the snow storm. The weight of the snow just snapped branches off and cause whole trees to fall over. Every sunny day I here chainsaws going.

Talking with Mr. Friend
My deer friend stops by every now and then for a talk. He’s friendly but not as friendly as Buddy who past on a few years back. Friend doesn’t want to go for hikes with me like Buddy did. He is a real character that’s for sure. All the deer have unique personalities. Some are real shy while theirs others like friend who walk up to you or come up to you to see what your doing outside. In the summer months when I get outside early he’s always there. If I sleep in he will come up on the porch and look in the window to see where I am. Buddy, his father did the same thing. It’s real nice making friends in the forest. They aren’t scary things like most people think. The only creatures I’m hesitant about trying to get close to is the mountain lions and bears.
I was sitting at the desk on the computer and movement out of the corner of my eye caught my attention. I saw a mountain lion near the picnic table. So I grabbed my camera and stepped on the porch taking pictures. The mountain lion looked over at me and started moving backwards behind this bush. Then I noticed the other mountain lion about 15 feet from me under the plum tree. He wasn’t moving until I looked at him. I pointed the camera at him and he moved up the hill behind a ponderosa pine tree. He would poke his head out to see what I was doing. I really didn’t feel anything at the time. I wasn’t scared or excited something the lions would key on. I just kept taking pictures of them. They slowly moved to the back part of the yard by the fence and started walking slowly up the hill. There were turkeys up there and they sure saw the lions. I could hear them making noise talking to each other but they weren’t moving. I guess they wanted to keep their eyes on them to make sure where they were. Then one of the lions darted towards them and the turkey took off straight up and flew to the trees across the valley and into trees where they waited until it was safe. The lions walked away slowly looking around checking out the place. I saw them a few days later when I was watering and they were getting a drink of water. Again I came out with the camera and they stood there looking at me bending over to drink the water and lay in it to cool off. It was one of those really hot summer days. Again I wasn’t showing any fear. We were all looking at each other trying to understand.
The bears are rather slow moving as they walk around but they can really move if they have to and I wouldn’t want to try to out run them because I would lose.
I think it was the first bear I saw here over by an apple tree. He was eating apples that had fallen on the ground. The seven sister a family group of female turkey saw the bear and charged him. They were making all sorts of noise and flapping there wings. I was real surprised seeing that. The bear took off running from the turkey. What’s interesting about the turkeys is they would hang around here while I was walking around working on the yard or taking pictures. They saw me as a friend. I could get within about 15 feet of them before they would move other wise they would see me walking towards them and stay right there until I got so close.
There was Blonde a big old female deer who was very nice. She matted down the tall grass for a bed for the night. She also came on the porch where she had some of Kitty’s food then got a drink of water. I put another scoop of cat food on the walkway. She walked up to the pile of cat food and sat down. She didn’t eat it all but just a few bites. It was water and drink before she laid down for the night. Doesn’t that sound like all of us before we go to bed at night?
This last Christmas Eve a your full sized bear came on the porch and laid down. There wasn’t anything to eat. I guess it felt good to lay on carpet out of the wind. The porch is dry since there’s a roof so there isn’t any dew. Maybe that’s what attracted him. He did sort of eat my hummingbird feeder. He didn’t chew it up but held it and drank the sugar water. I couldn’t see him at first but I did see the red hummingbird feeder moving around lit up with the porch light. After he left I went out to get the hummingbird feeder to see the damage. The bear was laying down out in the field. I couldn’t see him laying there about 60 feet away. When he heard me making noise it startled him and he took off running. He hit the chain link gate moving it to the center of the road. I heard him on the other side of the creek going through the brush very fast breaking branches as he went.

Why not buy the Opium?
Instead of letting the Taliban buy the opium for dirt prices from the farmers in Afghanistan which they rely on to live. Buy up the opium and make it into drugs for third world countries. It would help bring down the price of pain killers for everyone. Right now the drug companies have set prices and should be looked into for antitrust.
Paying the farmers two or three times what the Taliban is paying would bring them over to your side. They would live better. The drug prices around the world would go down. Third world countries could get the drugs for free or close to it where they couldn’t afford them before. It would take the drugs out of the hands of the narco traffickers taking the drugs off the streets. Everyone wins.
Is Katie Couric making you depressed
If you noticed the news lately Katie tells you how you feel according to her poles. Every day it’s something, how we vote, how bad we have it, asking crazy questions to her talking heads. Those talking heads, well you can buy anything you want to hear. Unfortunately it’s all depressing things the way Americans feel. Nothing like the bad news day after day. No one ask me how I feel and how I vote and if I can see through the media hype. What I don’t understand is why Katie and CBS always gets some Bozo to tell the viewers the bad parts of everything. When it came to the health bill they got those drunk GOP leaders that only say no to defeat the democrats just because without a valid reason. Are big interests influencing the news to give one party a boost. Katie never talks about the good parts of the health bill, just the wankers that want to stick some sort of bizarre addition to the bill which makes the bill worse and not serve the people. Does CBS really serve the people are make the people confused to vote one way, the wrong way

What about that next storm
Turned on the TV today to watch the Weather News. Really bothered me seeing that the storm clouds off the coast had a sign over the storm clouds saying, “SNOW.” Going to have to stock up one things so I don’t run out. Last time I was snowed in for a week without power and phone. Was a real drag, no computer and internet for a week. Stock up on batteries after that. Bought more LED flashlights. So now I have 5 LED flashlights that run on AAA batteries. What I like about the LED flashlights is they work for a real long time. As I was checking out more expensive flashlight I notice that one had a LED that was about 3/8ths of a inch square. That must be bright and use some power. It was a a discount store so it was around $10 dollars or so. I seen a cool lantern that had a conic shaped parabolic mirror. The LED’s were facing upwards into the mirror, this made the light spread out to the side. I bought a small on with the same idea from Wal-Mart for $5 dollars. It’s a handy little one with magnets in the base which will hold the lantern to a metal surface and support the lantern.
So I’m ready. Batteries in the portable radio and spares. Extra canned and dried food. Want to find those boxes of milk that you don’t need to refrigerate. I’ve checked a couple stores so far and they didn’t have them. If my laptop had one of those trick internet things that plug into you USB port and connect to the internet I’d be set. Need to figure out how to make the UPS work for more then turning off the computer. Be nice to hook then up to a 12 volt car battery so the UPS units would stay on longer. Give me a little AC power. You know, need to blow my hair dry.

Desktop Working
Finally got my desktop computer working again. Been a real headache and a lot of reading. Found that things in the TEMP file needed to be deleted. Had those bogus files appearing again. Deleted all the files in the TEMP directory and now it runs fine. Got rid of all the Temp internet files too. Were a lot of those too. I hate those files with nothing it them. Increased the drive space by deleting directories where Microsoft installed a program and left it there. Don’t understand why programs that were unpacked weren’t deleted after they were done installing instead of sitting there taking up space. I have the compressed file which I’ll same. I could make a disk of the uncompressed files but why. So happy that I have one computer that’s running Windows Live Mail. Hard to play around with that to get all the accounts working and be able to sign in. Not sure what that was about. Been having problems with Internet Explorer 8 for some reason but it works for a while. I like Firefox that doesn’t crash my internet connection. What ever the install program from windows that’s popping up goes to Windows Live Writer.

What about My Windows Live Mail Errors?
So what’s with this error every time I start Windows Live Mail. I’ve been trying to read about errors on the Windows Live help site but the only thing they have there is how to add an account and things like that. Things that you can only do if you Windows Live Mail program is working. What’s odd is it was working for years and I set my computer on hold while using my desktop computer and now it comes up with this error. There was a second error message telling me to reinstall my program. That my contacts couldn’t be loaded. I really hate getting online to read my mail with a browser, it’s real hard to do and the screen refreshes and the mail I’m working on moves up and down. All the rest of the Windows Live programs seem to work just fine and I’m using Windows Live Writer right now. I’ve tried turning things off in Windows Live Mail and this message reminds me that nothing is going to be saved. I sent a feed back form in so waiting for a reply on that. I’ll have to post it when I get it.

Preparing to install, What
Have a new problem with the laptop, a window pos up and it’s trying to install something but what. I’ve been looking everywhere to see what things might be running. Found a lot of old files that haven’t been uses since 2002. Noticed there is a lot of programs ready to install hanging around in directories that I’ve installed before. Why the file was moved from the download directory to this other directory and sits there taking up disk space. Noticed that the mouse was getting loaded twice. That gas to take up time. The new mouse driver is 60 plus megs before you install it. Then 20 plus after you install it. I remember when a mouse driver was about 50K and that’s all.
Been reading the big book of XP. I’ll find something that might be cool to do and it will say this is only for XP Pro. One thing I’ve noticed is that the book is written in a way that everything is working right. Sometimes you can find something and work backwards. I’ve tried installing the CD that came with the book but it doesn’t work. The install is really hidden too. Lot of links to places online. What’s funny about that instead of giving you support for XP it wants to sell you Windows 7.
Noticed that the time it took to load this program I started my Linux computer next to me. I’ve noticed with Linux there are more uses of passwords to change things. I’ve been trying to make changes to Windows Internet Explorer but it keeps telling me I’m not the administrator. It says I’m the administrator. I haven’t found any other place to find out access rights to a program.
I still haven’t figured out how to install Windows Live Mail again. I had it there and didn’t use the computer for a few month and now it doesn’t work. Installing the program comes up with the same errors. Checked the registry last night. All the mail stuff was still installed even though I uninstalled it. I tried putting in the patch to get Outlook to work with Live Mail but it’s 2002 and it works on 2003 and newer. So have to check mail with the browser. I really hate that because the screen updates and moves.

What’s Wrong With RE-installing Windows Live Mail
Why can’t I reinstall Windows Live Mail? Why Did I have to reinstall Windows Live mail? I just didn’t use my laptop for a while and then my Windows Live Mail program keeps having an error telling me to reinstall Windows Live Mail because it can’t load the contact list. I’ve uninstalled Windows Live Mail and the other programs with it so it wasn’t there. When I reinstalled it the first few times every thing showed up the same and had the same error telling me it couldn’t load right and it couldn’t load the contact list and it had all my accounts except it didn’t have one new one I install from my desktop computer. So I deletes all the accounts with the error messages still up. So starting Windows Live mail with no accounts I thought there wouldn’t be any problems. Still I get the same errors and have that contact list problem. I noticed that when I installed Windows Live on my desktop computer with a blank disk that it loaded all my contacts. They were stored online I guess even if they weren’t a MSN account. Every one was there even just contacts that are phone numbers without and mail address. When I install the package of programs all the other programs install right. Wonder if I need to check the registry to make sure Windows Live programs have been deleted from there. I know the directories remain when you uninstall the programs. What gets me is that the program was working fine before, then I didn’t use the laptop for a few months and it stopped working. Well it did download all the mail, that is all the mail I’ve read but still is in the in box along with the deleted mail, sent mail and junk mail. Filled those directories right up. Did that with every account too except the one new Gmail account I haven’t installed on this computer. That all forced me to use Outlook that came with office. I can’t get any emails from my Hotmail accounts but can get the rest. I’m having problems with the desktop computer staying online and know what the problem is and know what box I need to uncheck. Been reading up on the DSL Modem. Before I start getting into anything else. I need to figure out what I installed that causes my desktop to lock up. It used to run fine and you’d think installing Windows on a blank disk that you wouldn’t have any problems for a few years. My Firewall program stopped working and I can’t get it to start either. I install some new Windows antivirus and spyware program but it says it’s not a full antivirus program and that you need on but it looks and acts like a antivirus program. Going to keep uninstalling programs on the laptop to free up space. I was looking at the Control Panel program to uninstall programs and the list is mostly Microsoft programs, update and patches. I need to remember this is a laptop and all I can really do is send mail and use the office programs. I used to be able to edit video on this computer when I first got it before service pack 1. The there was service pack 2 a whole CD of updates and a lot more space taken up on the hard drive. Then service pack 3 did the same thing, took up more space. It also makes the operating system larger when you start the computer. It used to take about 400 megs for XP to load when it first came out now it’s around 800 plus megs to load.
Well it’s raining here today. Guess I’ll try working on the desktop today.

It’s cold wet and windy out, No not going out.
A calm for a few seconds. Wind is really moving, wondering if I’m going to loose any trees or that trees might fall on the house. Well, I have my down booties on and I’m not doing anything. Getting the computer running. Installing and removing software as long as the power stays on. Have the scanner on and hear downed tree calls. New or weather said that the biggest part of the storm will be on Thursday. Need rain but don’t want it all at once like the snow storm last month. That was just too much. Liked looking at the snow for a few minutes. After that it was work to walk around. Looking at a few pictures from then I noticed that the foot print would disappear after walking a few feet from them. I couldn’t see my road, it was covered with snow and branches hanging over weighted down with snow. Thought it was a airplane flying over but it was the wind. Felt somewhat awake this morning but ready for a nap. My directional mic of the tripod blew off the porch. Tied a 7 pound sand bag to it. That will keep it here. Have the down booties on and that means no outside at all. Been cleaning up the browsers and tried to go to my web site which I haven’t worked on for a while but it looks gone now. Need to set up the back room computer and run Spinrite on the Western Digital 120 gig drive. Need to take the desktop computer apart and clean the dirt and dust out. Have a couple CD/DVD drives given to me. Going to have to test all them out and take out the ones in the desktop that are acting up. Not raining to hard right now and not to windy, think I’ll go to the cellar and get some computer books. Really scares me watching the pine trees sway in the wind. There’s a call for a power pole down. It’s on a small street so no one ran into it. All set with batteries incase the power goes out. Have a pen and note pad to write too. Mic just blew over. Hear emergence vehicle some what close. Must be the downed power pole. It’s the gusts of wind that are bad. Other then that it’s not to bad. Not to cold out but not warm by any means. Mic and tripod need to come in. Guess I’ll let this defrag and rest.

Pop This Up! Windows Live Mail Program
OK, I’ve installed and uninstall Windows Live Mail and all the other programs over and over for the last two days. Was up till 4 AM this morning hoping this next time it would work. I really hate programs you get these little seed programs and it then downloads the program and installs it. There isn’t very much you can do with it to change things. I keep getting the same messages, “Contacts failed to load.” Well I rooted around and found the folder where all the contacts are stored. I thought if you uninstall a program that means it removes everything. What was the other message, the first one that pops up. I think it said something like, “Sorry Windows Live Mail had a problem please re-install.” Maybe it was the contact list message that said to re-install.
I’ve ignored the pop up messages and deleted all the accounts I had installed. This was a first step forward. I looked at where the program and data are. There still was two email accounts there with sub-directories. It also signs in right of the start of a new install. That’s a first for me, not having to enter name and password in a program. Well it is a new program from Microsoft and must have that new ESP technology. All those hard working guys at Microsoft, using The Tossing Method while they work, it’s one of those new ways of getting things done in corporate surrounding.
Here’s those nagging messages that keep coming up.
What I don’t get is Windows Live Mail was working a few months ago when I had my laptop in the bedroom and would be writing there. I’d have the mail program running in the back ground while I was writing and watching TV. Everything was working just fine. I started working on my desktop computer and re-installing Windows XP because of some problems. Added memory and hard drive. Install Windows Live Mail series of programs. I noticed at I install each account it downloaded the folder for each account. There wasn’t any contacts that I had to install but were downloaded from the Microsoft mail servers. So what do I do with my contacts that remain on the hard drive after un-installing Windows Live Mail and series of programs? No one has said to delete them. Not much info on repairing Windows Live Mail and series of programs. It’s back to that ESP Technology I guess. Try it what do you have to loose. What get’s me is all the messages I’ve sent to Microsoft when closing Windows Live Mail. I’ve sent my personal info to Microsoft but never hear back from them. They did call me one morning when I solved one problem, think it was, “System Fade.” That was duplicating a empty file in the temp directory or folder. Once you got rid off all those and restarted the computer everything was fine. I think that was with the new Windows Internet Explorer 8. I was half awake when I was talking to the young person on the phone. Was wondering if it was some strange person or really Microsoft. I was too tired and wanted to get off the phone and back to bed.
So what happened to the mail program after sitting for a couple months. Why can’t I install Windows Live Mail and the series of programs where I don’t get errors. Why isn’t there a place with info on how to repair things. I’ve noticed that most instructions tell you how to do something that works and not where the errors creep in.
Well it looked like I was going to be able to read my mail. I could see it there but when I clicked on the mail to read it, I got this messages again.
They all the type faded away but the program was still sitting there, a empty hulk of a program. And me here trying to get my mail working before the big rain. Going to be storming for a week. Ten feet of snow in the high country. Don’t need anymore snow here. I’ve had my fill of that last month where I was without power for a week and without a phone for two. Couldn’t drive out. Had to cook with my camp stove. No snow here please.
Back to this mail program. Do you think it would work better if it was open source? I’m sure it would be faster, smaller and more secure that’s for sure. At least that’s what I’ve been finding out about open source programs anyway.
I’ve grown to like having a mail program with every thing right there. All my account nice and neat. Having to work from a browser it’s like looking down a tube. Every things not where you want and you need to scroll up and down. You get all those tracking cookies from Microsoft ads. My spyware program keeps popping a message up that it’s removing something. What I find real stupid is when your changing sites with Internet Explorer 8, that top like telling you that it just blocked a pop up. It goes away after the page changes. I know they have forum to find out things but I hate having to read through so much crap before finding the answer. Be nice if that stuff was filtered down to how to fix the screw up’s section. Give you pictures not a description of the error because some are like others. Seems like with all the money coming in there could be some people working on fixing the operating system that was abandon when Vista came out. Now that Windows 7 is out everything else gets put on the back burner or in the warehouse. I’ve been working with Windows 2 and DOS 1.0 so I’m very familiar with you need to buy a new version. I’d like to see one Microsoft program come out and be finished. Nothing ever gets finished, they just move on to something else when they can’t fix it.

Administrator, I’m the only one here
What do you mean I’m not the administrator, I’m the only one here. Who you talking to, I’m the only one here. No one else here named Administrator except me. Well it’s Microsoft Windows, what do you expect and error like that.
Looking at Linux I’ve noticed that everything you need is in about 650 megs of space installed. That’s the operating system, all the drivers for your computer plus a lot more drivers that you don’t need to have also. It’s got everything. Office programs. Games. Art programs. Graphics programs. Compression programs. Every things there. Why are Windows program that do the same thing take up so much space and do the same things. They look real close to each other. I never see any “Not Responding” error messages. In fact I never see any error messages. I don’t think I’ve seen it ever lock up.
What’s interesting is I noticed that Windows programs cost about 3 times more then the same programs for Linux. I’m really liking this open source program that people are doing. Not only can you get Linux programs through the open source network you can get Windows programs also. I also saw Mac programs too. What’s the deal, all these free great programs. I can’t even get Windows Live Mail working on my laptop after not using it for two months when I set up my laptop and desktop at the same time.
Wanted to make a change on Internet Explorer and it’s telling me that I’m not me. I’m the only administrator at least that’s what it says. Do I need to make an account saying “Administrator?” That I can’t tell the computer my name and that I am the administrator. That’s very interesting. It’s interesting when you have nothing to compare to you see the operating system as being good until you can look at several operating system side by side. For a long time I was all Microsoft manic and nothing else mattered. Now that I’ve looked into other operating systems and how they perform, Wow, have I been spending money like crazy for nothing? I can get something better and it’s free. People help you and it doesn’t cost you. Help files make sense. Very interesting.

My Computer is running slow
I bought this Sony computer with XP installed. It ran great but had one problem which I contacted Sony about and the wrote an update to the BIOS so the hard drive wouldn’t turn off because of heating. They set the temp too low and one degree C made a difference when I was running test here and told them about the problem. Then Microsoft had it’s patches, updates, and service packs which made my computer so slow.
I’ve been testing out Linux operating systems from everyone. What’s good about Linux? It’s small, it works, it doesn’t crash, it’s so stable, it’s free. Even the applications are free. There’s a program with a list of programs and if you want to install one you click a box and tell it to apply. It installs the program and it runs. No problem. I here the new Apple Mac operating system is based on Linux. Don’t know if they just are using the kernel or what but if you know Mac’s, turn them on and they work. Same with Linux, turn it on and it’s working. What gets me is this computer is 4 times faster then this other computer with Novell’s openSuSE DVD that I installed but it runs circles around this computer which used to run great when I first bought it. It’s all those fixes from Microsoft instead of replacing the system parts that are bad, deleting them, not putting them in a folder somewhere so you can reinstall the program that you just removed or updated. You can go back to the old way things were working, that is if they were working. They wouldn’t have made a patch if it was working.
What gets me about open source programming is everyone knows how it runs but it’s safer then Microsoft. Microsoft still isn’t going to let anyone know how the system works. They let you build programs with there software which puts it into there way of doing things.
Watching Microsoft grow over the years by taking over the competition when they could make something as good. Then they would shut them down maybe use the technology or not.
Now all there software I noticed I’ve been installing from Microsoft asks if you would take part in making the program better. I’ve been sending in crap every time my programs crash but never here anything back. I’ve started this laptop which has been in the bedroom while I’ve been using my desktop computer. Now that my desktop has some problems I went to start this laptop and get mail. I keep getting an error message. Windows Live Mail is improperly configured, reinstall program. Can’t load address book or contact list, that sounds more like it. Then Windows Live must Close. Well after deleting and installing Windows Live Mail and all the other programs it still doesn’t work. Still the same error messages. So how are you going to fix things if it keeps telling you to do the same thing something Linux never says. Linux always works. Open Office is so much better the Microsoft Office and all the add-ons are free. Open Office does so much more the Microsoft Office and it’s free too.
Got a disk in the mail yesterday from Sun Microsystems it was open Solaris disk. One the front of the disk is says share freely. That something Microsoft wouldn’t do. I’ve called Microsoft to activate XP two or three times in a day. You can’t get updates until you activate XP. You can’t install Service Pack II or Service Pack III until you activate XP. Then there’s other bits that it wants to install soon as you activate XP before your off the phone with Microsoft. I hate that recording haven’t you tried using the internet to activate your XP? I’ve changed hard ware and had to install Windows XP many times since I put this computer together. It’s still the same basic computer except I had to reinstall XP or change hardware.
What cool about Linux, you have a problem you can talk to people that wrote the programs or that are part of the operating system group or just cool people that have like minds and like computers and thing knowledge should be shared and not sold.

Out at Bob's space - Windows Live
Well, still can’t get Live Writer working right. The program can’t find my site or page. I entered my Google Blog site and there was no problem. It’s funny in the Microsoft wants to get feedback and you click those boxes to give them feedback but I’m stuck here because there is no feedback and I can’t find this problem in the help files. I thought Windows Live Writer was great as sliced bread until now, trying to reinstall my programs after a drive crash. Going to see if I can recover the data on that drive because there’s two years of photos I took here, about 20,000 pictures. Well, when things go wrong they go wrong big time. I did find out that the several versions of Linux install and run just fine without and type of crash or problems.

Sunny Sunday
Was a nice day here in the sun. Not real hot or warm but not real cold. Worked on the garden. Lot of walking back to the house to get tools. Always forgot one tool and would have to go back for it.
As I was checking mail had two family groups of deer here about 7 or 8 in each group. They were all females with there babies. I had to get out and sit on the porch and watch them. Haven’t seen any males yet today.
The girls didn’t show up last night. I wonder if it had something to do with the earthquake. People all over said they felt it, I didn’t.
Mr. Friend and his sort of buddy Droopy just walked up. Nice seeing the deer day after day, year after year. You get to know them and their personalities. Friend will let me walk right up to him. He’s a good deer friend. Little Buddy and another young male walked up too. It’s amazing the deer are still shy after growing up here. They all seem to keep so many feet away except for Friend and some of the females.
Did some wire work and leaf raking in my garden area. Made up a gate to get into the fenced in area. Turned some dirt and was going to pull the things out but it was starting to get dark. I hear it’s going to be windy tomorrow but no rain for two days. I left the tools out so I don’t have to drag them back out. Going to get those onions and garlic in the ground soon. Got a few cuts and scraps today. Was using a clipper and pinched my skin on my thumb. It bleed real bad and all over. Have to replace the band air I put on, this ones getting funky and frayed.
One of the deer walked up onto the picnic table where the bird seed is. Amazing seeing something that big up there. He’s standing and looking out over the place. Now Friend and him are racking antlers.
I’d sure like to get this program working right. Windows Live Writer is suppose to be able to hook up with my blogs. It does it OK with my Google blog but not the Windows Live Site which it’s made for. I’ll plug in the info and it sits there. It can’t find the site I made with this same program a while back. It wants to make a new site but can’t find sites you made already.

What a Life
Been working on the computer besides other things here. Had a problem with the power cables going to the drives. The connectors seem to get loose because of where the computer is, near the sliding glass door. It's a bit cooler in this space because of the glass. It's dual pane glass which help no letting the cold in but still it's cool here So, I cut all the power cables apart and soldered them together coming from the power supply getting rid of any loose cables connectors. Had to replace the ribbon cable going to two drives. That seem to help fix things also.
I've been running Spinrite 6.0 for days to recover data and refresh the surface. I got about 1% done over 4 days. That took out two blocks and recovered several other blocks. Before running this it would take 3 hours to boot up. Now it's booting up normal. Haven't tried to accessing the drive yet. I wasn't being seen by Windows but now it is so that's good. Don't want to loose 2+ years of photos. I've backed up most of the downloaded files. I had so much junk and I was running out of space.
Well, my blog space has a mind of it's own and changes type or goes off to another page while typing.
So have the cover on the computer to cut the noise down. Hopefully I won't have to get back inside.
Installed Novell's openSuSE Linux on the small computer but haven't figured out how to set up the internet yet. Getting closer I think, the network lights are coming on and the DSL modem sees the computer. I've been trying all sorts of combinations of of network IP numbers and addresses. Going to take a little more work.
Suns almost out. Going to the doctors but afterwards I'll be cutting up trees.

Snow tonight
Been cold out all day and some popcorn like snow came down around noon. Now it’s real snow and it’s covering every thing.
Watched the a skunk, Little Buddy and one of the female raccoons come on the porch earlier. If it keeps snowing like this I’m going to be stuck here a few days until the snow melts. It’s not coming down real hard right now and hasn’t all light. It’s just been real steady.

You call that a tax?
Some bone head thought he would try to get a tax on buying stock and derivatives but it’s so little it’s like buying a postage stamp for a million dollar sale. Then again everyone know that Washington insiders protect the rich. Why isn’t it more like 1% on stock purchases and 2% on derivatives and credit default swaps. All sales need to be registered so you can charge them for income tax. What I don’t understand is why there hasn’t been any taxes on these money making products. Even brokers take a cut why isn’t the government taking a cut for these sales? Why isn’t congress and senate up in arms after all we did have to bail these people out for the world mess they made.
Banks are putting up resistance to any changes or over sight, I wonder why. So they can have black market money to buy and sell things off the books. When I heard that weasel, senator Dodd laugh at how hard it is to make changes and get bills past with all the lobbyist in Washington. It’s hard to pass a bill when your on the take that’s for sure.
I heard a lecture about Black Market money and how it’s going to cause capitalism to fail. I listened to it and wondered how true it was. That Senator Dodd as the biggest obstacles to any bill that would make black market money.
What it takes is people with morals in Washington and not people only there to be on the take. They might call it campaign contributions but cash spends real well.

Cast on, Cast Off, Pin in, Pin Out! Way Out
So nice to wash the hand. Skin is coming off like a wet old news paper. Hand is smaller from apathy. Going to have to work on getting things built up again. I have a Velcro cast now and need to go back to the doctor in a month. The best feeling so far was my hand under the warm water washing it. Such a difference then no washing for the last 6 weeks. Definitely a funky smell from the hand when the cast came off.
So, going to be typing a lot to get my hand back in shape. I think it will be a while before I'm hammering or using power tools.

What going on
Saw the skin under the cast, the day the cast was removed and checked.
Just heard a speech Bush did about Geneva what ever part 3, about torture. I don't know what all the fuss is and the tour groups coming in. forgot what it's for except you don't torture people while holding them. I'm not my usual self, I'm in a lot of pain and that keeping me from talking or thinking properly. At times the pain pills aren't strong enough and other time too much.
To top off the day as I'm calling my father the nurse seemed to be fighting with him and said my father is slipping not sure what that means. Is he slipping holing on to my father, doing a one person rolling the person over. I'm sure if your a hospital you really would want two people turning a person like that. One person puts to much stress on the body. I know what I was rolled over or side to side I had two nurses and one spotter.
Out of all the nurses I had to deal with those to black women were the best nurses ever. When I moved here I was in the hospital for about a week. It also had a bad record to, it preceded them. I was watch the nurse give me a syringe. It was raining outside and the nurse wasn't going to give up when she's doing a perfect finger nail. The ones that look good but you couldn't pick up anything with.

What you say, your ready to work now?
So the republican are saying they want to work on the health care bill. After all the no’s since the beginning of the year now they are trying this, lets ask if we can help now that the bill is done. It’s not like they were busy or getting paid to put this health care package together, they were there physically. Maybe with such small mind, no takes up a lot of space. Then the republicans, the ditto machines repeat talking points over and over, that the sky is falling with this bill. You will live i fear because they are republicans and they perfected the stroke. This is something they have been working on for years. When you think about it, being a slacker because your rich republican with connections. The conservative slacker mantra is no taxes for the rich. At least they come up with good bumper stickers. Who could forget, “Slackers do it with spoons.” “College, I paid someone to attend for me.” That frees up time for the spoon. Are they the Zombie wolf?

Greenspan, totally wrong
Turns out every thing Greenspan said was right was wrong and he was warned 10 years ago. All these so called economist got it all wrong. they said the market didn’t need to be regulated and wall street is telling Obama not to regulate the market, so nothing is going on.
Phil Gramm attacked Mrs. Born because she wanted to regulate derivatives market. Phil Gramm’s wife just happened to be working in that same market.
All the things that were put in place after the 30’s depression were taken out to let the market run free at Greenspan’s advice. When it all blew up, all he could say was their was a flaw in his thinking of the world. A flaw, is that all you can say after loosing trillions of dollars. Maybe you could cover that with your pocket change, Mr. Greenspan.
The person that warned of impending doom, Mrs. Born from a unregulated market is saying people haven’t learned their lesson yet and this will happen again and again.

“Kill the liberals” the ego driven host screamed out.
The host screamed out, “I want to kill him,” “kill the man,” he is the slime of the earth liberal and I hate liberal. The crowd gathered closer cheering on the host. The host yelled, “We need to kill all liberal starting with this vulgar man, he’s a liberal.” “Someone grab a rope?” a voice cried out.” The host called out. “We will kill it right here and put a end to his liberal ways.” The crowd went crazy cheering the host. Yes they said, kill him. The crowd jumped man-x and put a hood over his head. They pushed him to the tree and threw the rope over the branch with the rope tied in a slip knot. The host yelled out sting him up standing safely on the stage looking down at his followers. The crowd did exactly what the host wanted and all pulled on the rope till he was high in the tree his body liberal body twitching and squirming. The crowd cheered. “Yes, death to the liberals,” the crowed screamed. The host yelled, “Death to the liberals,” again. The body stopped moving. The crowd went quiet. The host repeated himself, “death to the liberals.” The people were silent. A person in the crowd yelled out, “Why didn’t anyone stop us.” Another person yelled out in the crowd, “it’s not are fault, no one stopped us.” Ya,” another yelled, “we were only listening to him, and it’s his fault.” The crowd walked quietly away. The host was on the stage, “we need to kill the liberal,” he yelled out once more but no one was listening. The crowd with their heads hung down in shame were silent.
Some people use drugs, some people drink some do both until they find the new rush, power over others. Their egos take over it’s their new drug of choice, twisting truth to see how far people will follow the broken mans mind.

This was a first
Today was a first, all the female deer and the babies came up close to me. There are 5 babies here and some teenaged deer and all the mothers. Having them come right up to me was something totally new. There’s still a couple that hang back a little. Sonny Boy is the only male here and he came up close but stood to the side. Not they are going through there pecking order without me standing out there with them. I’m not sure but I thing one tiny baby might be an orphan. I’m not sure why they are acting this way today unless they smell the bear that’s been around.

If it’s good for the country the republicans will hate it
Have you noticed that anything good for the country the republicans will hate it. If they get laws past it’s so some body could make short term gains. Phil Gramm who caused most all the banking and oil price problems got old laws on the book to end so the market could run wild again. The laws he removed were ones that were past after the “Great Depression.” They were to keep banks, investment banks, stock market traders all honest. So Phil Gram working with his wife got a few laws changed and you seen what happened, this big bailout. There was last years spike in oil prices also where the market was manipulated. The republicans were saying we need a completely unregulated market because it will regulate itself. Well, we know that’s not true. That’s like asking a thief not to steel, a fire bug not to light fires, a serial killer not to kill and a stock trader to be honest.
Now that insurance and health care reform is on the table the republicans hate it because it’s regulating monopolies to bring down prices. To keep them honest after all they don’t just sit on all the money they collect they are investors also but the thing is they never loose. If there investment tanks you make up the loss. Your rates for insurance goes up not only in health care but any insurance you have.
If you want to see evil at it’s finest look into Life Insurance. First of all you have to be dead to collect so life is the wrong name. The people that come out to sell you insurance policy will sound real wimpy and talk softly to you. They get what you pay for your life insurance for the first year and a percentage the following years. It’s funny how different companies will make big claims about there companies when basically they are all the same. Better service claim really get me, your dead, you don’t need any services. The way they make it sound is like a energy account to keep the lights on and someone will be there to answer the phone.
Back to what republicans hate and if they hate it then it has to be good for the country. When they were the majority they did what was for big business say passing laws that keep you from filling bankruptcy. Then credit card companies sent out millions of teaser cards to get you hooked. Once you maxed out your card or cards they raised the percentage rate you where charged on the card and if you had any late payments they could raise it even higher setting there rates to what a loan shark would charge. There were load shark laws but the republicans found ways around them like find a state that doesn’t have any limits on the percentage they can charge. The company could be located anywhere as long as they had a office in the state that permitted loan sharking called usury laws. The states catered to the credit card companies since it brought jobs to the states which before only had jobs like farming.
So when it comes to insurance reform where insurance companies can’t cancel you policy they said they would follow states laws which means they will keep canceling people policies when you put in a claim for some expensive life threatening illness like cancer. Of course they will keep taking you money right up to the date you are canceled without giving you any idea that you are going to be canceled but they knew it. So I guess they will be making a national law to make sure that insurance companies can never cancel a policy because of the way they testified in congress.
What would really please me to see happen is like what they did in Germany make a law that all insurance companies are nonprofit. That way the CEO’s won’t be walking away with millions of dollars a year in bonuses because of the amount of money they saved by canceling peoples policies.
France #1
With the debate over health care and insurance reform being beaten around the public I’ve been hearing all sorts of horror stories from the “Radical Republican Right” spreading lies because they didn’t do their home work and actually go to those countries they are making statements about. “Socialism” the republicans are claiming and a few democrats also most of which are very much uninformed and very uneducated also. Lets face it, insurance companies want to keep everything the same and keep there monopoly status. After the fear mongering and lies that were spread back in the 90’s about the single payer system where every one would get a health card and the government would pay for everything. No rejections, no denial of service, no cancelation of policy because you put in a claim, it sounded real good except for all the lies that the insurance companies spread spending millions to buy off republican to lie for them and buying ad time on TV and radio making it look like the health program would make you wait month for treatment and hold back treatment because it was to costly. Well they are using that same game plan except the republicans just want to be nasty and make Obama loose this bill to make him look bad even though this would be a good program for the country and hold down cost. The baffle them with statistics, pulling numbers out of the republican but but there are used to storing things in there butts like log cabins. Hey let me hear you fart? So you went to Washington and as a tight end but now are a wide receivers packed with special interest plucking. They have learned not to stash the cash in the freezer but places where the sun don’t shine and where no one would one to check.
What the Radical Republicans with there defeat anything even if it’s good for the country except when they got behind Bush and Chaney to start the Iraq war. Then again they were spreading fear, there will be terrorist here under every rock. Spy on your neighbors and turn everyone in where they go off to the secret prisons for years only to find out they were innocent and didn’t know anything. Now suffering from PTSD from the torture or what they called it, “enhanced talking.” So after all those lies for the last eight years and a lot more if you count on what they did while Clinton was president. Newts promise the screwing with America Contract. Before that it was the Regan era. What to buy some cocaine for missiles? That’s when a wing-nut from Texas sent guns money and missiles to Afghanistan to help create the Taliban and El Qaida. The mantra back then was to get rid of communist at any cost. Don’t look at what monsters your crating, remember republicans are short sided look what they did to the economy. Sort term gains with devastating end game.
So, are you believing the republicans lies brought to you again by the insurance industry?
The republicans have been slamming the UK’s health system but they are at #18 and we are at #36 according to the WHO. France is Number 1 according to the WHO. Funny how the places that the republicans say are so bad are better then here. People live longer and healthier then here. So all the lies they have been saying about other countries make the republicans here look like real dummies.

One Cookie fits All
So been trying to get two Windows Live Spaces going. I have both accounts made up using unique names and emails for each account. Then I tried using Windows Live Writer for both accounts. It works fine for one account, this one which I set up and have been building up posting pictures and blogs. The other account has been sitting there doing nothing for a while. I got the Windows Live series of programs when they first came out. I was using mostly Outlook Express for my mail program and got the notice they were doing to drop it and switch over to the new more secure Windows Live Mail. I still have my Microsoft Office Outlook set up and working with all my mail accounts. So, I installed the Windows Live Mail program and the other programs which turned out to be alright. The Gallery program can handle the amount of pictures I have where all the other so called great picture manager programs all crashed big time. Adobe’s proto manager program crapped out right off the bat and needs a bunch of things you need to do to keep it up to date which takes forever to scan your hard drive and make thumb nails. Now that I have one site or space working well and it looks good but I want to change a couple thing still, I decided to set up the Windows Live Writer program for the other “Space” I have. I signed in and was moving things around on the “Space'” and fired up the Windows Live Writer program and went to sign into a new account. Well, it doesn’t work. When you sign in and tell it to remember your computer it put a Cookie or something that says I’m hooked to this account. So trying to set up another account it goes to the first one you set up. No problems with Google Blogger. No problem with the ad-ones to set stuff to Picasa or Flickr or YouTube but getting it to understand that you have two Spaces with two different emails that you sign in with and the title of the Space is different from each other is impossible. When I tried to sign in after that now it wants me to sign on with one email account only. When you click sign on with different account it put the name you don’t want there even though you clicked on the other name. Click sign on with different name or account it goes in circle over and over trying to make you sign in with the name that won’t work for that Space. What’s real ironic is doing a blog entry on the site or Space there’s a line saying to download the Windows Live Writer program. Over all I like the Windows Live Series of Programs even for the minor problems which I can work around. The menus and permission things can be a bit confusing. All the extra junk you can stick on to your Space is a bit much. I’m not one to give out a lot of my personal information or post it on line. Other then that everything is good except for the problem I had to deal with, “SysFader” which many other people have that same problem. That effects IE 8 and the Windows Live Series of program causing them to crash when you open them, but what’s new with problems with Windows and Microsoft programs, it’s always something with them so that’s nothing new.

So I installed everything again
So far after deleting all the empty files in the internet temp directories, most labeled “bogus” with nothing in the files but took up space because of the name. That added up to around 75k per directory. I deleted the empty directories also. Then I downloaded Internet Explorer and Windows Live install program. I installed both. Took a while to go through all the tests and checks. Finally it seems to be working and no crashes yet after battling this problem for over a week. No message, SysFader can’t read memory address XXXXXXXX. No messages from the Windows Live programs yet either. Lets see how long this all lasts.

Finding BOGUS files
SysFader driving me crazy
It's not only Internet Explorer that's having the problems, all the Windows Live Programs all have problems too. I can't use the mail program. When I start a reply the page goes black and a message comes up saying it was sorry that Windows Live Mail needs to close. I never seen that message and the way it's written either. Photo Gallery doesn't work. You open the program and it sits ther for a while then closes, no messages. Same thing with Windows Live Writer. At first I started to write something then it close. So I opened the program up and let it sit there for a while and it would close.
Windows Live Messenger is acting weird also. I've never seen the window turn black before. I just logged in. So far every things working. I leave it sign in and see it it craps out like everything else is doing.
Checking the web and Microsoft site there are some fixes which don't work. When I sign in using Firefox to any Microsoft site Firefox crashes which is a first for me. I used Google Chome to get some tips but it was flashing on one page. I don't know if this is just a Microsoft program or if this is effecting other programs. Was I just having one of those days with Firefox because it's running just fine now and I did download some Microsoft programs today

Paid Programming
What is paid programming? It’s crap they can’t sell without a long sales pitch where you get sucked in to what they are selling. They always have things like health secrets revealed. New system using the word system to suck you in. It’s got to be good, it’s a system. Ya right, it’s a system of getting your money from your pocket into their pockets. Some of the sales people have been band by the FCC for false claims, that shouldn’t be surprising. Loose tons of weight without lifting a finger. Then they show a 400 pound woman and supposedly the same woman slender, as before and after pictures using their new secret system for weight loss. Then the small type goes flying by or a guy speed talking blurts out that that results may vary. Whether it’s a knife that will cut a car in half or weight loss or other miracle pill it’s all bad crap if it’s in a infomrcial, pain programming. You think if people could be making tons of money they would be doing it themselves instead of selling the secrets which is the money maker. Where they make their money because what they are selling may work but most likely your wasting you money if you think your going to buy a house for a couple dollars and turn around and be making millions with girls in skimpy bikinis hanging off you arms in just months. I like the one where the guy says you have to be all you can be with a vacuum pump masturbating machine. He’s smiling, his wife is smiling and they say Medicare will or may pay for it.

Why didn’t you care where the money came from for War?
During the Bush years there were silent voices asking how are you going to pay for this war. Republicans made people out as none patriotic if they didn’t support Bush’s Wars.
Now people are whining how are you going to pay for health care when they are going to be the ones benefiting from that health care.
When Bush wanted to privatize social security letting people invest in the stock market with it’s derivatives that fell flat. AIG an insurance company took the biggest bailout but people are forgetting what happened last year. The insurance company AIG couldn’t insure what it was selling. They figured, well no one has made a claim so we won’t put money aside for claims and take that money and invest it in over rated stocks.
Health care will cost less than bailing out AIG and be better for you not them. That’s why the monopolies are spending so much money to stay monopolies.

Dick Army works for the bad guys
Listening to Dick speak about health care reform and all his lies he’s speeding. Remember he was the guy that exposed a CIA agent then hid behind the president not to be prosecuted. I thought it was a traitorous offence myself. Well, he’s against the people of the country like most good republican sucking up to monopolies and helping them to stay monopolies. There are a few others spreading lies also. The one that really got me that the radical right republican woman that can’t read. She was reading of a page or so she said on a radio show talking about death board. Palin is no better but she used her body to get places. You know she’s got a tan vagina now for her husband and who ever else she needs to persuade. “I can see Palin’s vagina from my porch.” The health care monopoly has pulled out all the stops spending millions to defeat the public health plan. They have been giving examples of Canadian and UK’s public health saying you get put on a list and it take months to see a doctor, which is completely false. No one there goes bankrupt over getting health care there. Unlike here where 3 out of 5 bankruptcies are caused by medical bills. Lets not forget what the financial industry did about bankruptcy during the Bush years, corporations can claim bankruptcy any time they want but people can’t. So banks and credit card companies flooded the markets with credit card giving them to anyone that could make their mark on a slip saying they will pay for what they bought.
What type of republican moron would say I want insurance companies to restrict service saying those tests aren’t worth it. That wants insurance companies to cancel there policy when they come down with a life threatening illness like cancer. That’s everything thee loudmouths are saying the public plan would do but they are already getting that and want to keep that type of service with all those restrictions. Dick wants you to keep everything the same and so do the monopolies called insurance companies.
Why isn’t anyone bringing up not for profit insurance companies. German did that, converted the for profit companies into not for profit companies with one law. That’s what we need here.

Palin is a looser, quitter, lier
Palin says the the health reform is going to make people sign up to die, what a lie. Then again she made her way from her looks and not her smarts.
The republicans in bed with the insurance companies want to do everything they can to keep prices high and health care for profit. The idea you can only insure healthy people only. Ironically many of the republicans in office couldn’t get insured felt on there own. Tax people pick up there high price. Chaney could get health insurance. He’s had 4 heart attacks, bypass surgery, pacemaker, drugs, everything to disqualify him from being insured.
We need a law to make all insurance companies to be nonprofit. As it is they only spend 28 cents of every dollar they bring in for health. They are also a investment companies and if they loose on a investment they will raise your rates which have nothing to do with your health. They set their profit amount and don’t take anything less.

Who supports republicans
That’s real simple, stupid Americans in states like Alabama. There there are the republicans that are spreading lies about health care reform and the hillbillies believe every word. Only stupid people support republicans because they don’t know any better even though they are voting against what would help them.
If people of Alabama want to be poor hicks with guns, drunk so they don’t see what’s going on while watching stock car races. Fine, but someone should tell them they are really getting screwed. That republicans are big business the ones shipping jobs over seas. Why can’t they see that? Too drunk to see the world and can’t read a news paper or watch the news. I’m sure these are the same people listening to Rush and Fox news. Someone has to listen to that crap and it might as well be stupid people in Alabama.
Stupid people don’t just live in Alabama, Oklahoma is another good place for stupid hicks. Everything they think they are voting for is just the opposite. Republicans don’t have morals at least the elected officials because they are making deals with big business. You think this depression wasn’t started by republicans. Bush giving the oil companies a big bonus before leaving office and trying to get offshore drilling going. Then Phil Gramm and his wife who got commodities and banking finance deregulated causing these bizarre products that were sold that were over rated. Why the rating companies are in trouble for getting paid for giving products high ratings when they were crap and they knew it but they were paid to rate them high which is a conflict of interest.
If you ask me, the people running the ratings companies need to be placed in jail. Better yet make them pay for everyone’s losses. Not bank but all the people that investing in crap that was rated by them.
No tax below $250,000
Obama said no taxes on the middle class, people making $250,000 and below. Funny isn’t that’s what congress and senate pull in? Plus they get all those breaks and benefits costing a lot which normal people would have to pay for. All the free airline trips which we would have to pay for. Pelosi gets a jet that can fly from coast to coast because she didn’t like to stop for fuel. Seems like she should rent out part of the space to recoup some of the cost so that tax payer would have to foot the bill every weekend. Her flower bill for the first three months in office was enough to pay three people social security benefits for a year. Then when they retire they get there highest salary times every term they were in office. North Carolina’s Senator Byrd will retire with $12 million a year. Lucky he’s old and the country won’t be paying that out too long. Still the cut off for the people who can afford to pay taxes bothers me. Now if it was in a more practical range like $50,000 or $60,000 dollars a year that would make more sense.

Weather movie, extra Cheese
I’ve seen bad movies and two of them on NBC in a row, two two week two part movies wasting my time, both times. Something that could have been a one day two hour movie was stretched out filled with crappy music that should have been in a video game and not scored for a movie. This movie was so cheesy. Whether it was the science done without any help from real science people to the cheesy rays coming out of the radar dishes. You know you can’t see magnetic wave no matter how hard you try. Then turning off a storm in the nick of time to end the movie. “Storm” has to be someone’s movie that they won’t use on there resume. What was NBC thinking okaying this movie, then showing it, what were they thinking. Did they make that much in advertising. Makes you wonder if a movie is going to be on NBC that you might not want to watch it because of there history of making in house movies. Well you get what you pay for whether it’s where you watched it, free off air DTV or the NBC people that made this movie.
Just think, next fall they are beating a night with talk show hosts are going to pull them out. Would be nice if they had programs to replace all the infomercials.

World says American Capitalism is broken.
When all these dirt bags too money from the Federal Government to get up and working they were paying themselves bonuses. What I see that is as take the money and run, leaving the mess to be picked up by someone else.
AIG the biggest off ender of capitalism with no moral playing fast and loose with the laws making up things that laws went made to protect the people investing in what they were selling, which should have been insurance but weren’t. Sure it’s nice that some of the people are getting paid off for the losses but they should have started at the bottom of the list and worked up. If they ran out of money going to hedge funds, so what.
I’m thinking at everyone that got a bonus at AIG for the past three years over a million dollars need to be vaporized from the planet. A hundred years ago they would be swinging from a robe of the favorite towns tree. Microwaving them to they were chard still and crispy being cooked from the inside while still alive isn’t that bad of punishment in my book for people like that. They rank up there with rapist and child molesters but worse. Since the amount of people they effected they should be charged with crimes against humanity. Life in prison is too good for them.
For all the CEO and upper staff that was in on the deal and were taking home these big bonuses all need to be executed. Like O’Reilly said, “they need to be taken out and shot.” That’s one of O’Reilly’s comments about doctors and liberal. He’s another one that the world could do without, stirring up people with his hate speech.
Line up the CEO from all the failed bank, investment companies, hedge funds, insurance companies, and last of all the rating companies that took bribes to give a positive review of junk that wasn’t worth the paper it was printed on, the worst of the offender and those companies need to be removed from the planet also. So you find a nice hole in the earth and drop a air fuel bomb on them. Western justice. Something Bush and Chaney were pushing for and should join then in this hole.
Another good punishment for all these people would be to run the gauntlet of people effect in the world where those people would be able to hit them with anything they want. They will have to getting running the gauntlet from both side because they would never make it to the end of the line. Even if one person was aloud to hit them once with a fist or a kick with a foot, several hundred thousands of those you wouldn’t be in very good shape.
The next tear of people under the people with the bonuses need to be band from anything economical. You won’t have to worry about the first group because they will be spending a short time on the planet before there punishment.
I see all these people as traitors to the country and to the world because they knew what they were doing was wrong but did it anyway. If you look at what political party that are affiliated with they all with say Republican, the party of no morals.

Blue Dogs PROTECT Big Business
Blue Dog democrats protect the insurance system keeping things the way they are. They did get big campaign checks for there re-elections too. Radical Right gets it’s way on keeping Big Business the way it is, higher and higher insurance prices. Forget inflation, insurance companies can set there own price because the Blue Dogs and Radical Right got rid of the competition from the government, the public health plan that would keep down prices.
Just goes to show you that money talks and people knuckle under fearing big business. What happened to your spines? Worrying about re-election verses doing the right thing for America has been the apathetic problem for years.

Republicans say, “We can’t help it, we were born this way.”
Republicans can’t defend there actions saying they were just born mean and support big business no matter what it costs the country. They republicans proved there selves during the Bush years deregulating everything they could get there hands on including banking and stock market laws making it easy to cheat people. What I don’t understand is they say they are the party of morals but you haven’t heard that lately because it’s obvious they don’t have any morals. In fact they act more like sociopaths then anything else. They all went into politics as “Tight Ends” but insurance companies, banks, and any other lobbyists made them all into “Wide Receivers.” And to think they are against being gay. I guess bending over is okay when you say, “it’s just politics.”

Testing out the Write Program
Well this is totally cool, being able to write my blog off line and then post it to Blogger. They used to have a add-on for Word but that went away. Now I’m using Windows Live Writer to write this blog entry. Now to see if it works which would be very nice. I noticed that my entries went down when the Word plug-in stopped working. Now that I have this, I’m going to be using my blog again. I like it that you don’t have to log in and all that jazz.

Looking good....
Now to figure out what I'm going to do with the Google ads. Right now it puts a ad under the last post which I guess I can live with. I don't know if anyone has ever used these links. I know I'm not getting money hand over fist from the ads. Don't think I've made anything so far.
The Firebug program works pretty cool. I've been getting a lot of goodies the last few days. I thought I had all the good ones but they always come out with new better toys. Some I'm not sure what they do yet since I haven't used them yet.
All Right Now, Playing with the Blog
The Soon to be Momma Deer is laying about resting intensely. This is what the other female did right before she had the two babies. Very touchy too, even though she knows me and lets me walk close to her but not today. I'm thinking she will be giving birth soon.

McCain plays stupid, again
I should say he’s not playing stupid. How can you find out what happened with the spying if there isn't an investigation. Either is the rest of the republicans that don’t want an investigation on spying on American, warrant less wire tapes, what ever ever evil things Chaney could cook up. Republicans know that if the spy program is reveled to the public they will loose seats and votes along with credibility. This is besides the torture programs Chaney loves also which republicans don’t want people looking into. As Chaney would say, it’s just a little water and some stress positions. As it is they changed the definition of torture to where only if you have organs failure is it torture. Well, people did die from what they did to them. They also ignored the Geneva Convention. How can you tell others not to do that when your not setting an example.. If what all happened in the last 8 years of what Bush and Chaney gets out to the world there might be a cry to put them on trial for Crimes against Humanity. I’m sure there were some other shady deals done where Bush and Chaney’s friends made billions of dollars. All the no bid contracts that went on which gave people the idea they didn’t have to do a good job but take the money. All the companies tied to position that Chaney had as CEO should have been excluded from taking part i any government contract. Chaney went from being CEO to vice president and gave his former employer sweetheart deals. It was like he was still the CEO and had two jobs.
What gets me is the republicans said they are the party of morals then go out and torture people, invade a country for oil. Looking from the outside you would say it was insider trading and manipulations of the markets. How people voted for the party thinking they were voting for moral people when they are the party of big business. There vote was shooting themselves in the foot. If you look at what happened to the bankruptcy laws where you can claim bankruptcy but big businesses can. That credit card companies can charge you any fees that get you into deep water where you never can get out because you can’t claim bankruptcy. Last years high price for oil was Bush’s gift to the oil companies. That’s what caused the economy to start to collapse. Then it was a house of card falling one by one until today. Meanwhile the rich got richer. Bush and Chaney aren’t hurting and this depression has no effect on them, they could care less. Like Iraq which Bush and Chaney broke, they also broke America and the rest of the world. I hope history isn’t very kind and tells the truth about Bush and Chaney and all there shady dealings.
